I purchased this battery to replace my warped and inflating DELL battery, but at a fraction of the costs. It has been about 8 months and it's working great. It charges and holds its charge, it's not overeating, and the laptop is running great. I would definitely buy this again.

This battery only lasted a week, total defective item, lousy quality. Taught me to stick to the original Dell battery.

This battery appeared to work amazingly for the first few months of daily use, but a month or two ago it stopped charging beyond 83% and I asked for a return which the customer support agent literally paid me to not do in the name of "saving the environment." Yesterday I tried to turn on my laptop to find that the battery doesn't hold a charge, and shuts off the laptop immediately after being unplugged. It's no longer eligible for a return... so much for saving the environment!I'm here to warn you not to buy lithium batteries from random companies, and if you do, not to accept small bribes to keep the product because they probably know it's going to fail very soon after.

Just an extra battery. Poor computer design. The small portable is probably good in a pinch. None of the batteries are designed to hold a charge from more than a couple of hours.
