This coffee is so good, it's all I drink now. I just wish I could find it in more stores locally. The coffee always arrived fresh and fast.

I bought one pound of the medium roast grounds, not the beans.For the brew I used a 1:14 ratio (20g coffee, 280g water) pour-over recipe that has won a world title. It’s the same recipe that I use for Community Coffee Breakfast Blend grounds.The Community product is simply excellent for the price (a bit more than regular supermarket coffees, though it can be found in some supermarkets, but much cheaper than a specialty coffee. I tried Sello Roja out of curiosity and it was a mistake.The Sello Roja was not even the equivalent of an undistinguished supermarket brand like Folgers.Opening the bag I could immediately tell I had wasted my coffee money. The odor, what there was of it, was not that fine coffee odor you get from even low-grade ground coffee. It was subdued and burnt.The brew itself was strong, which I like, but bitter (which never occurs with Community Breakfast Blend), nor in any way complex. And the taste was like that from a burnt roast coffee. In brief, I would never consider purchasing Sello Roja again.I’ve read that Sello Roja is the most popular coffee brand in Columbia. I don’t know if that is true, but in any event I feel that the coffee drinkers there who use it are in for a huge surprise if they ever taste good coffee.

We tried this coffee once and we liked it. It taste great and it does not leave a sour taste. It was shipped fast and well packed. I highly recommend.
