I ordered these to serve as replacement cases for several PS1 games. They work great for that with the dimensions matching up almost perfectly. The CD cases also come apart easily enough to place art under the CD holder with no issue.There are some minor marks on them from the plastic molding process, but nothing that gets in the way of the art. While the packaging was a little lackluster (the cases were crammed into a box with no padding) I was surprised that none of them were damaged in shippingIf you need new PS1 cases, these are worth picking up!

I was a little hesitant to order these as half the reviews on here are 1-star reviews because their cases came broken but I gave it a chance because it was on Prime and I could return it easily if that were the case.Fortunately in my experience with these, nothing arrived broken. I'm still an avid CD collector but a handful of my CD cases I've had for years are broken, the hinges popped off, don't have lids, etc. I bought these to replace all the broken ones and they work as expected.My only concern would be that the door hinges and middle CD holder part pop off pretty easily. Normally I'd say that's great, I just wonder if that means they're extra cheap or flimsy. The jewel cases that came with my original CDs were also pretty susceptible to cracking/breaking, it's inevitable given the thin nature of that material, but I feel like the hinges and middle piece were usually harder to pop off on my old CDs. I haven't had any problems with any piece popping off accidentally, but just thought I should mention it.That being said, I am glad that the pieces are a bit easier to pop off because the older CD cases being a little harder to pop off, I'd break the case half the time just trying to adjust something.

I was beyond happy to find jewel cases for sale on Amazon! Tbh I didn't even know the proper name of them until a few days ago when it came to me to look up "CD cases". I've been needing new cases for some of my CDs and old PlayStation 1 games for years now, so it was really nice to have these to fix everything up. I admit I was a little nervous considering some of the reviews mentioned almost entire boxes of broken cases arriving to them, but I had no problem with mine. All except one were in completely perfect condition. The one that wasn't, had a piece near the top of the door broken off but this could have occurred in transit. After all, these cases are extremely fragile as is.

I love that I can see the Cds very clearly and that it closes and opens easily. Great purchase.
