We used this device for a display at a local museum. We put up a corner display with felt-covered walls and a tree depicting a forest. Children are invited to stick bugs and other creatures on the wall to build a “Miyawaki Forest” and the Waytronic was the perfect device for us to add some sound effects to the scene whenever anyone entered the area. It was easy to download some MP3 files from my computer and I connected the device to power so that we wouldn’t have to worry about changing batteries. You can see the Waytronic in the photos near the ceiling to the right of the tree trunk.

I really wanted to like (and use) this item. It seemed great and the reviews seemed well. Unfortunately, the item kept loading back the original sounds it came with. I would clear them, restart the device with only my sounds on them, and then (no matter what the setting was) they would play again either randomly, as part of the list or over what I set to play. AND THEN the item quit working entirely before I could even get a response for assistance from customer service. I would not recommend buying.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this device to make a paranormal music box. The motion-sensored paranormal music box I initially considered & truly almost bought, was priced at $399.00, so I sought out a cheaper alternative, which led me to Waytronic. The instructions are lacking. I first deleted the pre-recorded files & formatted the memory. After transferring my desired file to the Waytronic, it wouldn't play. Upon inspecting the file, I realized it was in FLAC format. I speculated whether converting it to MP3 would resolve the issue, and indeed, that was the solution. Once I converted the sound from FLAC to MP3, the Waytronic played flawlessly. However, I was disappointed to discover that the device only had 5MB of memory, which was far less than the advertised 120MB I thought I saw somewhere on here. Despite this setback, I found the sound quality satisfactory and decided to keep it. Thank you Waytronic. You saved me $350.00.

This worked out well for an application that required a pre-recorded soundtrack to play when the presence of people was detected. Easy to use and set up. Just requires you to format the card each time and then copy new tracks over to get new tracks to load and play.

Will be used to perform some functions of a tour-guide in a covid world. Not yet installed. In testing it off site, I found the audio quality to be reasonably good. The sound volume appears adequate, but I'll only know for sure once it is installed in some of our musum buildings. We are constrained to using this model as our homes do not have electricity.

It took a bit of time and thought ......but it works perfectly for what I needed.1. The instructions are poor. It's difficult to determine how to load the .mp3 file.2. I chose to use my tf disk to create and load the sound wave. When I attempted to place the disk into the slot, it wouldn't accept it. Upon closer examination, I realized that the device came w/ a tf disk which I was able to depress and remove. I don't recall reading anywhere that it came w/ a tf disk .....but I'm a man .3. Now the problem. When I attempted to load my tf disk into the slot, it wobbled and fell into the device. The guides were too loose. I created another tf disk and with the device laying front side flat on a table, I was able to load the new disk into the reader. So there is another disk floating freely inside of this thing and appears not to cause a problem.Bottom line is it works GREAT !!

Cannot add .mp3 files. It just plays static. Would have been better if they didn't remove the sd card slot.

wish it was easily programable for a personal voice message.

This Waytronic motion-activated mp3 player worked very well, exceeding my expectations. It is ready to use out of the box, and some demonstration sounds are installed so you can test its effectiveness right away. The speaker is surprisingly loud, and the volume can be adjusted. There is also a built-in audio out jack if you want to plug it into an amplifier/stereo system for even more sound. The sound quality is surprisingly clear. Use the A and B buttons to set the unit to play the same message every time, or cycle through many different messages. The USB cable (included) lets you transfer mp3 audio files from your computer into the unit, which acts just like a USB external memory device.The only hitch I ran into was easily solved: when I deleted the pre-recorded messages, loaded my own mp3 files, then disconnected the USB cable, I was surprised to hear the deleted messages still playing. Customer service was very helpful, telling me to reconnect to the computer, empty the trash/recycle bin, then disconnect. This worked.This capabilities of this unit seem to be unique in the marketplace right now, and it is easy to set up and use. Anyone who enjoys creating spooky Hallowe'en displays could have a lot of fun with it!

Das dritte Gerät dieser Art für mich und das Erste und Einzige das so funktioniert, wie ich es erwartet hatte.Die Ladung des eingebauten Akkus hat über einen Monat gehalten. Ladegerät angeschlossen und wieder einsatzbereit.Problemloses Überspielen der mp3-Datei, ordentlicher Klang und gute Lautstärkeregelung.Hätte ich dieses Gerät sofort angeschafft, wäre mir viel Ärger mit den anderen Schrottgeräten erspart geblieben.Über die Micro-SD Karte kann die Klangdatei (mp3) importiert werden. Wie in der Anleitung (englisch) beschrieben, Gerät ausschalten, SD-Karte einschieben, Taste "A" gedrückt halten und Gerät einschalten. Die rote LED beginnt nach kurzer Zeit schnell zu blinken. Taste "A" loslassen. Bitte Geduld, es dauert etwas, bis die Blinkfrequenz langsamer wird. Gerät ausschalten, SD-Karte entnehmen.Nach der Erkennung einer Person (Wärmequelle) im Erfassungsbereich wird die Klangdatei abgespielt, Die Datei wird vollständig entsprechend ihrer Aufnahmelänge wiedergegeben, unabhängig davon, ob der Trigger weiterbesteht. Ist die Tonwiedergabe nur ein kurzes "Ding-Dong", endet die Wiedergabe damit und das Gerät geht wieder in den Überwachungsmodus. Besteht der Trigger fort, erfolgt die erneute Klangwiedergabe.

Détecteur de mouvement avec message pré enregistré ou message vocal ....Il est fournis avec un secteur alimentation et câble et une carte micro SD 128MB ....Vous pouvez le poser ou le fixer au mur via les fixations fournis...Pour commencer enregistrer un message vocal ou une musique en fonction de l'utilité du détecteur particulier ou professionnel...Pas évident car notice en anglais et en traduisant les informations ne sont pas très précises...Une fois paramétrer il détecte bien les présences pour avertir d'un mouvement mais je trouve le prix un peu excessif.

I fit this motion alarm for the entrance door at our house. We have lots of deliveries coming in nearly every day and I wanted this device for greetings and giving instructions to the drivers. The best feature for me in this device is the ability to record my own message or messages. I can customise my message based on the circumstances. The sound is loud and clear and the voice alarm turns on every time without fault or delay. The volume is adjustable i don't have it set to the max as our street is not very noisy. I have it installed just above the door in the covered porch so it is protected from rain. The fitting was included as well as quite a long USB cable which I have permanently connected through the small hole I drilled in the frame. We already had some positive comments from our postman. Can't wait for Halloween and Christmas for some fun customised messages.I'm very happy with this motion alarm.
