Excellent little book, packed with great photos of historic & contemporary new york, interesting facts & info.

Book was in excellent condition and great if you enjoy looking at old photos, a great insight to New York in years gone by and recently

Some places shown haven’t changed, others are gone. A book to pore over repeatedly and talk about.

There are some really lovely "then and now" photos here but I am removing 1 star just because in the 2019 revision I have there are still a few references in the text to smaller "insert" reference photos that have been removed from this later version of the book. Otherwise, printing and binding quality is excellent and this is a really nice book to browse through - the text written for each scene is informative and not superfluous, too.

Absolutely love this coffee table book, perfect for lovers of history of the greatest city of the world xoxo

Muy buen contenido, formato, tamaño, relación costo calidad óptimo?

Purchased this book for my son who just moved into an apartment in New York. It’s a great coffee table book and he’s already pointed out to a few of the buildings that he passes by each day so he got a kick out of how the buildings looked back in the old days. Pictures are amazing. My son said that whenever people come over, they always flip through the book. It’s a great gift for someone that just moved to New York or anybody for that matter.

Absolutely wonderful book to show the “then and now” of NYC. It’s not only a fascinating read, it’s a great coffee table book for guests to look at when they come to your home. So glad we purchased this!

Me encantan las fotos antiguas en B/N sobre todo de sitios que conozco, vi este libro en una joyería y tarde 5' en pedirlo por Amazon, las fotos no son grandes pero en la época las fotos tampoco tenían mil pixeles, es un libro que está muy bien
