I liked it. Durable and it’s the right size that I’m looking for

At first I was a little worried that these would not work the way I wanted them to. But after the first use and a couple of drops of oil to help prevent sticking they were Exactly what I had been looking for. They are easy to use, wash quickly with out having to do to much to remove residual left over cooked dough. They do allow the tart to stick a very small amount, but if you tap them lightly the tart falls right out with no problem. One important factor to remember is you need to add a couple of drops of oil prior to putting you dough mix in the mold. One disappointment was the time that it takes to come from China after the order was placed. But that is the way the Postal system works here. It took just about a month to get it. However the wait was well worth it. I would recommend these to anyone who loves egg tarts! Remember this is only a set of 12 so you might want to order a second set for any of that left over you might have in the bowl.

I appreciate the simple small packaging, BUT I wish they didn't use a separate plastic bag for every single tin. The tins are durable and don't scratch, they could have easily just placed all tins in the box without wrapping them. Bakers always wash the tins before use anyway. I made several different tarts and they all turned out great. Just in case, I greased the molds by brushing some vegetable oil before each use, but I have not tested out the molds without greasing yet. Cleanup is simple as long as your tart filling didn't overflow; just rinse and rub under warm water. I prefer washing metal molds by hand and without soap because I think washing this way prevents the chance of scratches forming. My only complaint is the price. I really enjoyed using these molds, but you can get MUCH better value for your money from products offered by others. Updated on 7/3/2020: I initially rated this transaction a 3-star one, because i find the mold too shallow for me need (to make egg tart). Upon research i find that all molds sold in Amazon are shallow like this. I also contacted the seller. The seller provided very good services, going above and beyond my expectation. And she even informed me they are developing a better mold to make egg tarts. Overall, i still don't think the 3.0 inch mold is good for egg tart. But i think it'd be for fruit tarts and other tarts. I am going to try using the 3.8 inch mold to make egg tarts instead. Either way, this seller is really good. You can buy from them with full confidence! I bought the 3.0 inch mold specifically to make egg tarts. I opted for the bigger size and have read the description the 3.0 inch one is perfect for egg tart. I received this today and my first reaction was this is smaller than i expected. I like my egg tart with enough egg in it. But with this mold, even though i tried to make the crust not too thick, there's not enough room left to fill it with my optimal amount of egg. I am disappointed with the size, had i known this is so small, i would have ordered the bigger one =(

The non-stick works real well I flipped my egg tart upside down and put it came. I brought the largest size of 3” it was a lot smaller than I would have hoped. Even when you roll your pastry thin about 1/8” it really does not hold much egg custard.
