**Q: Why is it so dark? isn't it supposed to be a tan type of color like in the picture? what i got is as dark as any other, and doesn't taste like acacia.**
A: You are correct! I purchased this honey maybe ten times, and the first 5 orders were light colored, tasted like acacia, and it said only 45 calories per serving. The last orders though were different: darker color, much sweeter than acacia, and 65 calories per serving, not to mention that the lid was defective, and the honey leaked inside the box. I wanted to return the product, but it is not returnable... It is definitely a change in quality, and even in purity , therefore I stopped buying the product. It is definitely not the one that I purchased originally, and I am very disappointed that Amazon allows sellers to “ pull stunts like this”.
Also , the honey comes from San Diego, and not Hungary as they advertise the product!!!

**Q: Is your honey certified by biocontroll hungaria authority, which authorized under the hungarian law to certify organic honey?**
A: Huh? I don’t know but it was good. Nothing is as good as the French honey!

**Q: How does this compare to manuka honey in terms of reputed health benefits?  Specifics most appreciated!**
A: Manuka honey is from the Manuka bush in Australia and New Zealand. Manuka treats wound infections and can be anti bacterial and anti inflammatory. Manuka can help treat periodontal diseases, irritable bowl syndrome and many other infections. 
I buy both honey. I prefer the taste of Acacia Honey. It’s more delicate and floral and goes along better with my tea , cheese, and toast and yogurts. It also doesn’t crystallize the way Manuka honey does. 
Raw acacia honey fights free radicals, found to lower blood pressure, and is also shown to be anti bacterial. There is magnesium and vitamin C in Acacia honey which is great for a sore throat. But so is Manuka honey. Acacia honey has a lower glycemic index and therefore safer for diabetics. 
Where Manuka is stronger is that it has much more beneficial bacteria that can make its way to your gut. 
Acacia does not have enough and won’t survive long enough to make it to your gut. 
I use Manuka honey as a face mask that can clear my acne, and moisten my skin. I mix it with aloe Vera or avocado. 
If you are looking for the benefits of Manuka, you must buy UMF 10 and above to be effective. 
I buy acacia honey strictly for the flavor and nothing more.

This is a wonderful honey, celebrated by Italian chefs to use in making Panettone, which I do all the time. It's quite light and it never gets hard, as regular honey. It last a long time. Thanks!
