I Used it to Wind a Long USB Cable, But It's the Real Deal
I ended up using this to wind up 20-foot USB cable that was too long for any other reels on the market and it happened to be a perfect fit. That said, I have a cousin who is big into film and particularly classic films. She took one look at this and said that without a doubt this is an authentic reel. It is lightweight and pretty sturdy, and I have no complaints.

Perfect fit, worked well
I was finally able to hear what were on those 1960's reel to reel tapes I found at my grandparents house so long ago. My grandpa playing guitar and singing to my grandma. Very cool.

The tape thread hole is in the wrong spot
The tape thread hole is in the wrong spot, but it is a easy fix. I just used a unibit and drilled the hole where it needs to be.
