I have one pup that wears out before me and the other pup. I like the idea of dog packs like ones for babies but you have to be careful with dachshund backs so that wasn’t an option. This is perfect! My dachshund can sit inside and just enjoy the ride after she wears out. I’ve also used it to contain both dachshunds while we were at a ball game. They both weigh about 9-10lbs. Also love that there’s storage pockets for treats and a small bowl.

My 14-15 pound shihtzu fits in it perfect I wouldn’t go any heavier.... I dont like that it bounces a lot so I tied another belt on the bottom to not bounce.

The first one I got was damaged the strap of the backpack was not sewn properly. So I thought ok that can happen sometimes so I got a replacement. This one was in working order but stunk in cat piss and was covered in fur. No thank you!! 🤮
