Great AIO
This is my first aquarium and I really like it. I wouldn't buy it again because I want something more complex that I will end up building....but this this is great as an all in one unit. I've modded it a bit by removing the top, changing the light too a kessil a160we, upgraded return pumps, updated media basket, skimmer, etc.. Not everyone will need to make these changes....I turned mine into a reef tank, so it ended up costing quite a bit...thats why I'm just going to buy a redsea or IM tank in the future.

Great tank if it would have come in one piece. It was the correct item as described
My tank did come in when it said it would. However when it got here it was not a fish tank it was a pile of glass with a lid the tank was completely shattered. I am very disappointed in the way it was apparently handled. Amazon has processed my refund and was very helpful resolving the issue.

Piece of crap. Lights did not work. When I called jbj I was told this tank hasn't been manufactured in 11 years. Amazon however let us return

Love it. Will probably buy another. Easy set up and space to add equipment in the back

AWESOME
This makes a great first time saltwater tank! So many things that you can add to the back filtration system. We have added a UV sterilzer and a protein skimmer and still have room in the back filtration area. The lighting is very bright (avoid big eyed fish) and the 4 led moonlight is really awesome (you can easily see night time fish/shrimp when they come out of hiding). It might seem a little spend, but really, good luck finding a tank setup with close to the same specs for the same price or cheaper. Amazon is a better deal than other places I went to for this tank.If you get this, get ready to lose time. It's a very rewarding tank and hobby

Tank Description
Here is a description I found on another website. Thought it would help since Amazon did not provide a long description. I would definitely like to buy one as soon as money permits! The 28 gallon Nano Cube Quad Compact Fluorescent Ultimate Reef Biotope setup is able to recreate a beautiful and natural coral reef anywhere you desire. This setup definitely is the most value packed All-In-One in its class and price level. It utilizes 105 Watt Compact Fluorescent Quad Lamp, Customizable 3-Stage filtration system, and two programmable circulation pumps. These compact fluorescent bulbs are capable of meeting the lighting demands of most soft coral. These compact fluorescents offer 50% more light output than competing brands, while having a low energy draw. There is also included Nite Vu LED's to observe nocturnal behaviors. Couple with the two included power head pumps, the Ocean Pulse Duo is able to accurately recreate the turbulent currents to mimic the natural reef environment. The filter is customizable to accommodate chemical or refugium styles of filtration. This complete setup puts you in control of your reef.Compact Fluorescent Quad LightingThe revolutionary CF-QUAD boasts 105 watts of high intensity daylight light output with our 10K/7100K combo compact fluorescent (power compact) lamp. It utilizes a small compact size while delivering MEGA lumens to your corals. Our quick-disconnect harness always makes changing the lamp quick & easy.Innovative Heat ManagementThe flame retardant ABS plastic canopy is efficiently designed to draw heat out of the aquarium. There are two cooling fans that automatically turn on/off with the main lighting system. There is also a failsafe thermal protector to automatically shut off the lighting in the event that the fans fail; automatically turning back on once the temperature reaches safe conditions.Customizable FiltrationThere are combinations of options for filtration. Included is a 3-Stage Filter Media Basket, which has preinstalled mechanical sponge, chemically activated carbon, and biological ceramic rings. These filter medias can be swapped out to fit your needs. With the newly redesigned filter basket that is now transparent it is easy to convert the filter into a refugium. Keep the carbon and mechanical sponge in chamber three and simply add macro algae into the other two chambers.Creating Motions in Captive OceansOur redesigned Ocean Pulse Duo now incorporates a memory chip for flawless performance after a power failure. Your wavemaker creates turbulent currents for a more natural reef environment. You can set it from 10 seconds to 6 minute alternating cycles. Water is returned via two (2) directional return nozzles on each side of the center overflow for even natural currents."

This is a really nice system and fun.
The style of the 28G nano was most appealing with the bowed front glass and with the rear filter insert I have everything for a few things every owner would want to know before they purchase one. I have been buying these for years and years mainly because of the hinge clips, if you want to remove the hood and a hinge clip breaks you're stuck cannot be replaced ! This is another thing jbj ppl have told me for years is only the fluorescent light supports corals and life for saltwater, their LED hood are just for lighting, spoken by the jbj ppl. The glass has blemishes but you may be lucky. The basket that holds a carbon a small bag of carbon and ceramic rings restricts the flow for both powerbeads and after they start to work filtering the flow begins to diminish, you can use other types of media to get different results but there is an upgrade basket for better flow and better flow from the spillover to get the water through past the media basket is important for optimizing the of the flow so the power heads don't begin cavitation and blow millions of bubbles into the main tank. Get the cabinet/stand that's designed to hold the 28G bow front and you will have a good system if you make the upgrades above and use the hood with the actinic/daylight fluorescent tubes. I never understood how they said their LED covers wont support life in the saltwater aquarium, atleast the original is gettable. And if I may add to this making a really nice setup, it's very important that you have a RO/DI system and stay vigilant with your bio system it's a 28. IDK why jbj led says not for growing sea life. I've refited an older cover for the 28 from the original fluorescent light with a little LED system that works well but certainly not reccomend that, you may be sorry ending up with nothing that works. I'd give 5 stars across but jbj needs to do more for the customer.
