My Very First Silkstone Barbie and I’m in love with her. She is absolutely gorgeous, the detail and quality is outstanding. Thank you Amazon for allowing me to get her for a little less than the retail price. I definitely will need more of these dolls.

This doll was too beautiful to pass up. I love how the stockings envelope the shoes. There is no clear plastic dust cover meaning it cannot be displayed in-box without exposing it to dust and other elements. Not good for a collectible. I'll have to come up with something there.

I've been eyeing this specific Silkstone since she first got announced to the public. I recently was able to get her and boy was I delighted. The overall design is simple and chic, the choice of pure pink will either break or make the doll for collectors. For me, it was a definite eye-catcher, as I have yet to see another Silkstone that's given the one-color scheme. The doll herself came in fine. Mine was shipped by Amazon, not Amazon Warehouse, and I was bit wary I would receive a damaged product, but she was fine and so was the box. Now, the reason I didn't give a perfect review was due to minor discrepancies. 1. The doll's stand doesn't want to stay put. There will be collectors that will display her out of box or in box; she's gorgeous either way. The stand issue I can easily fix, so I'm not worried about that, but for others this may be a bigger issue. 2. The bottom of the shoes have small scratches. The scratches look to have come from removing the extra plastic during production. Again, not a deal breaker for me and it's not like I'm going to look at the bottom of her shoes every single day. 3. Baby hairs are sticking out of her head. Again, not a really big issue, but needs to be addressed. Overall, she was worth the money. For new Silkstone collectors, like myself, don't be afraid to pick one up. The dolls speak for themselves, just make sure you check everything is okay upon arrival.

I love this Barbie. Her pink hair is just adorable. I also love that she has the 60's style face. I would recommend this doll to any Barbie collector out there. 5 stars on everything!
