Was exactly what I was looking for.
Great book, better than I expected. The illustrations are fantastic. Was contacted by the seller to let me know that it would be coming without a dust cover and if I was happy to proceed with purchase, which I was. Would buy from them again.

A classic
This book is a very straightforward and handily applied introduction to the complexities of Oriental therapies (whether Chinese and indeed Japanese, meridian-based, yin-yang, and 5-element theory). A few precision niggles aside on some anatomical loci and nomenclature, it's a wonderful book.

Great reference book long out of print
I foolishly lent this book years ago and never saw it again. Happily, this copy in great condition is back in my library. It is a guide map to the points on the body used in some forms of Asian healing, like accupuncture, accupressure and other therapies grouped in general by ailment. The maps are exceptional and there are instructions on how to measure an individual to find the points if the ouch doesn't find it for you. It is a great introductory learning system to another method of learning what the body is saying. It points to systems of disorder which widens the horizons for a holistic approach to augment other methods.

but still one of the best books of its subject
I have read and study this book for about 20 years. Yes, it has been around, but still one of the best books of its subject.

Excellent for shiatsu therapists & acupuncturists
Excellent book in hard cover about tsubo & shiatsu points. If you're studying shiatsu i highly recommend this book to give you an understanding of certain 'zones' to work on when client's are presenting with a particular problem.
