GiobertiMen's 5 Button Tailored Collar Slim Fit Formal Herringbone Tweed Suit Vest

Tweed is wool. Polyester is not.Having said that, I still ordered the vest expecting to return it. The quality is OK, and the fit is pretty good. I have 5 wool vests from 3 respectable chains, and none of them fits me. This one is the first that I can close and is not loose on me. If they made actual tweed or at least 50% wool blend, I would be all over Gioberti.I decided to keep it and ordered the same pattern in brown (which I really wanted) directly from the manufacturer because Amazon did not have XL, and it was quite different. It came in a nice branded pouch instead of a generic plastic bag from Amazon, had an extra button, and the fabric was much better - soft and woolly while the grey one I got from Amazon had a noticeable polyester feel.So , I ended up returning the grey one and keeping the brown. Was it just different polyester in the same pattern, or they use worse quality materials for Amazon, I don't know.

Great design and fabric. A little bit in the bust area but nothing my seamstress couldn't remediate.

This is a great vest. Materials to the craftsmanship are very good. I looked around for a vest to complete my outfit and couldn't find anything. I'm an 18 1/2 for shirt size so I'm like between xxl and xxxl. I ordered the 5x because whatever I was finding at stores was very poor fitment and not true to size. 5x too big, 3x too small. 4x did the trick. Nice fit, not too short at waist and very comfortable. I'll be ordering more colors to add to my wardrobe.

I was pleasantly surprised by this vest. It can be a rugged vest or something to wear with a suit and tie. The fabric on the frontside is actually pretty solid- its not super flimsy like those cheap tux rental vests. It has a nice texture and color. The satin fabric is smooth and comfortable too. One thing I check for on vests is the straps on the back for adjustments- this one is nothing special but it holds the adjustment once you place it, so it does a really good job of that. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase and would suggest it to those who are interested.

I was skeptical of the quality based on the price paid, but I am very impressed with the look, fit and craftsmanship. Unlike the majority of men's garments, this vest will actually fit someone who is not a toothpick. The photos do not do it justice. The color and pattern are very nice and I consider it worthy of the tag... formal. One thing to note is the vest is pretty long and in my case completely covers the waistline of my trousers and belt when standing. This is not a bad thing, just something to be aware of. All-in-all, a great value.

This item was a great length, longer than most vests a similar size, which I was very happy with as I'm over 6' tall. Will be ordering another in a different pattern.Happy overall with the rest of the fit, the arm homes could use some darts to avoid puckering, but I'll have tailor do that and I won't blame a generic fit product for it. But that's the only thing I was not 100% happy with.

I would not be surprised if I found out, Cremieux is just a relabeled Gioberti. They are identical, down to the fabrics.Gioberti is just a helluva lot less expensive than a hundred dollars per unit.I'm ordering one in each color, lapel and not.

These are an excellent find, with only minor loose threads. I have purchased three and expect to buy more. The six button version is a bit more formal, but five is sufficient. I also buy Western vests with more interesting designs, but more fragile button holes and less durable fabrics, in many cases
