Distance and Beeper are a plus
I will only buy dogtra collars from now on, even though they are more costly than others. Especially since I have larger dogs. (GSD and Choc Lab). I like that it has a beeper to hear where they are located on the property, and they usually return to me after they hear the beep. So, I rarely have to use the shock setting. The remote is very easy to handle and I like how it is arranged to make it easy for others to use ( my parents). The charge lasts for a long time, but I always plug it in at the end of day.

Great collar
We purchased a black and orange version when we got our first GSP five years ago. It was such a a great collar. When we got our second GSP this past June, we were in a predicament of needing another collar. We debated buying two new collars, but then settled on this one. I'm so glad we did. The battery lasts long, the orange collar matches its orange collar so we can easily keep the remotes for both dogs separate. All of these collars are pricey, but we feel this one is the best for the cost.

Ordered this collar is 2023. Received a collar that was made is 2018
I recently had an issue with the remote not holding charge. Called Dogtra and mentioned I bought this collar oct 2023, a little over a year and my battery is junk. When I called about warranty I was told that this company had sold me a remote that was manufactured in 2018 (no wonder the battery is junk) highly DO NOT RECOMMEND. when I called customer service I was told oh yes sometimes they sit on the shelf for a while…. That’s not my problem as a customer I ordered a new collar in 2023 I expected the 2023 model.

Fantastic device
I have been able to put this product through the paces over the last several days. Works great and the tone is pleasing as compared to my previous run/point device. It just seems a very well engineered and thought out product.

This collar is the best. A fellow hunter recommended it to us and we are not disappointed. Easy to use. It’s loud long range and gets the job done

Amazing for stubborn hounds!!!
This beeper function is amazing for my stubborn hound & GSP’s!!!! Placement on neck is lower for 2 of my 3 dogs due to the longer profile of the collar receiver, but it’s worth every penny to be able to redirect and recall my intensely scent- and prey-driven doggos! Great for off leash field work and dog park situations.

Too difficult to program and not loud enough.
Not loud enough on the highest setting. Difficult to program. The run/point sequence doesn’t make sense.
