I have only used this twice since receiving it a week ago and all is going well. Easy to use. The manual gives you a few recipes so you initially have some idea, before you use your own recipes, the quantity you can make. For an amount of ice cream for the two of us it’s easy to lessen the churning time from the preset time. The ice cream has been smooth with no crystals in it and a nice soft consistency to eat straight away. If you like firm ice cream I’d suggest putting into a container and freezing for a while.

The instructions for this machine are shocking and certainly not what you would expect for the cost of the machine. It asks to rate on flavour, but actually the machine cant take any credit for the flavour because that depends on what you put into the recipe. It makes lovely ice cream, but it has to be eaten straight away, because if you leave it in the freezer it becomes rock hard. I have to admit, i didn't think that would happen. In the write up it says its makes gelato. There is no setting for gelato and no recipe. If i had played with this before purchasing I don’t think i would have purchased it.

I have had ice cream makers in the past which were noisy, only made small amounts and were a pain to clean. As soon as this one arrived I made 2 litres of vanilla ice cream in one go & it was very quick, quiet & delicious. I've since made lots more flavours & sorbets using my glut of fruit from the garden. Iwould say that this machine is good value for money & so easy to clean.

This machine isn’t the quietest but it freezes ice cream really well and it suits me not having to pre-freezer the bowl. The bucket mixer and lid are easy to clean and there is no faffing around when putting it together. Operation is easy with very clear controls.
