Fits my labtop perfectly and offers great protection. Worth the buy. I had another laptop they got to experience some football fumbles and although repairing these things are not too complicated buying something like a screen is so I think its a worth while investment especially for an expensive laptop.

Falls apart right away. Doesn't even fit my 15" XPS. What a joke.

I like the fit. I don't like the weight.

12/17/19 - update - I no longer recommend this case and I lowered my rating because, as another reviewer said, the case adds thickness to the screen and can damage the hinges on the laptop. The XPS 15 9560 and 9550 come with very tight hinges, so the clam-shell cannot be lifted with 1 hand. I believe that the 9670 model resolved this with either loosening the hinge or a different hinge, but I don't have access to the 9570 model -- so can't say for certain. This thickness combined with a tight hinge causes the laptop to partially close at 98% closure, but due to the tight hinge, the case can lift and break the hinge from the bottom of the case over time.I saw this in IT practice with some users with XPS 15 models we manage. We resolved this by no longer using this case. One of the laptops had to be sent to Dell for repair. If you are searching for a case, I recommend you look elsewhere.---------------------------I LOVE this thing! It keeps my XPS laptop from getting scratched, has vents on the bottom so the laptop breathes, and it looks like a professional organizer when going to meetings. It's well made. I keep my XPS clean but recently got a few scratches on the bottom from travel and general IT use.... not anymore!

For my new Dell XPS laptop. Love this item!!

I purchased this because I was concerned about the aluminum on my new Dell XPS 15 9750 getting scratched.I liked that it had a portfolio appearance, and the color would look nice in my office (vain, but important to me!). The case itself appears and feels well made, and is extremely easy to put onto my laptop.What I don't like about it is that it adds a substantial amount of thickness to the laptop itself. At least 3/4 - 1", which takes away from the ease of packing it and working on the go. More importantly though and the reason for my lower rating is that it definitely causes an overheating problem while charging. It would appear to have a thoughtful design with venting along the bottom of the computer to help prevent this, and you can even use the magnetic fold that holds the piece that fits over the back of the monitor to try to prop it up more to provide additional ventilation. Something about the material or the placement of the vents just simply traps heat. This only happens when my laptop is in the cover.Options for this particular model of laptop are super limited case wise, but I would recommend going with an alternative. If for no other reason than the continued health of the laptop!

I never thought I needed this, but now that I have it extremely happy I do.
