Durable
I live in the high desert where temperatures hit triple digits . I purchased this product along with a plant cover with a drawstring. The drawstring cover disintegrated in the heat but this cover is durable and providing some well needed shade for my plants . The material is held in place with large rocks . We have high winds and so far so good . Highly recommend and it is a generous amount of material

Saved my garden
Simple to use on my tomato plants in containers and my raised garden with hoops. We had high winds and hoops in the raised garden followed by a hard freeze fir several days. The material did rip after the winds but I had enough material to protect the vegetables.

Such a good deal!
This is just what I needed to cover my bedding plants before a freeze. And it's so long that there was plenty of it for my entire flower bed. It was easy to cut it into sections that fit my 3 areas. It doesn't crush my plants, and ice just accumulates on the top so I can shake it off the fabric when I remove it. It's a much better deal than the green stuff you buy at the big box stores.

Used to protect new plants from heat
I didn't use this to protect my garden from the cold, after I planted my seeds inside I replanted them outside. The weather here was nearly a hundred degrees for days and days and I was worried about my small plants growing in the excessive heat.I put down four steaks at the corners of my garden and tied the corners of this to the stakes as a light shade cover for my plants. After they started growing more and getting stronger I eventually took this off and all of my plants have done really well.I do have small sprinklers that come on in my garden that came on under the shade, but the when it rained, the water could still get through the top. I also went out with the hose every few days and gave them an extra spray underneath the shade.

Good shade and frost cover
This product is durable and works a treat for shading plants. I haven't had frost since its blazing hot outside but I believe this will be great for that application too. Sadly I bought the wrong size but I use it over a bigger and much lighter net to keep bugs and bunnies out. This doesn't let rain in, that I can tell, or very little so I find myself adjusting netting quite a bit. It's not a big deal for me though, so far. The thinner net I bought (from someone else is flimsy. I can't see it lasting long but this one should hold up for many seasons.

Hard to use
I felt like I was wrestling an alligator trying to cut these into the sizes I needed. The material is doubled (folded). If you want to unfold to cut you'd need an enormous surface to spread it out. Even if you try to cut it without unfolding it took forever and was frustrating. They seem to work fine for my purposes once I was able to cut it. But I live in southern Arizona. The temperature does reach or go below freezing but the lowest it got this winter was 28F. I covered young native plants which came out fine after the cold breaks but I can't vouch for places that suffer severe winters. In the future, I'll go to my local hardware store which can cut single plys to the length I need.
