The "Delicious Tropical Flavor" is barely noticeable.Collagen is a major building block in the body, and its decreasing presence in the dermis is what makes for saggier, duller skin as we age. As for whether ingesting collagen will make for a more youthful experience? It's hard to measure, but maybe. Will it help with hair and nails? I usually use homemade bone broth and collagen powder additives to food and drink. I decided to try EVOWELL Collagen Gummies. To be completely honest I take a few different gummy vitamins and probiotic supplements because they are like a candy treat for me, I don't eat much candy as I try to not have it in the house lest I devour it in large quantities quickly. These Evowell are heart shaped gummies with a serving size of 2 per day and a warning to not eat more than 8 in a 24 hour period. So the 2 gummies (1 serving) has 96 mg of collagen. The sweetness is from cane sugar (first ingredient) and corn syrup (second ingredient). The good strong fruit flavor is achieved by natural and artificial flavors. The collagen is from pectin and citric acid. Color is from betacarotene. As I enjoy these candy like collagen supplements I have researched the difference between using beef bones for collagen and gelatin versus lab created pectin and am having trouble finding that question answered exactly. Except for vegans who refuse the animal source of gelatin which leaves pectin as the only option.
