Pleasant little story with good illustrations

I absolutely adore most of the books by Rod Campbell. I highly recommend most of his books so I brought this one. Its a lovely simple book for a baby, probably under 18months. I brought this book for a 2year old and apart from the chicken page which is brilliant for teaching where an egg from from. It's way to young for a 2year old. You can't even make comment on anything to make it more than it is. A lot of baby books can still be read in a different way to toddlers to make the book last longer and make it more interesting. Unfortunately this one can't.
