ERP DC31-00054A Washing Machine Drain Pump

I have not good luck with Samsung washers and dryers (washer died twice, once fixed under warrantee and once by me using this pump, and the dryer fixed by me, bad heating element) in just a few years. The washer had a no drain error code and tried the standard clean the filter, such out gunk with wet/dry vac still no go. Called a local repair shop, they wanted about $225 fix, nope. Found this pump for 30 bucks and figured it was worth a try. Free shipping came in only a few days, quicker than quoted on the order, yea!Fit almost perfect, only problem was the plastic cover did not fit so had to trim it a bit with a pair of wire cutters, all good. So for $30 I'm back on line, recommended, well, the part supplier and product that is, not Samsung washer and dryers.

Our Samsung washer wouldn't drain at all. This exact replacement was the fix. It was easy to install and hopefully will last a long while....This is the exact pump which came with our Samsung. Buy this one instead of the many knock offs!

It's hard to find pumps that last longer than a couple months. This isn't one. Keep looking.

Replaced one that went out in my Samsung washing machine, and works like a champ (at least for the last 4 months) without any problems. Beats the heck out of paying a technician to come replace it and mark up the pump by 250%, or buying a new machine all-together. One note though, this unit did not fit my washing machine exactly, as I had to file down the insides of the existing housing unit/cover to make it fit over the pump. Very minor issue in my estimation, and does not impact performance of the pump or the machine in general.

Just installed this pump in my Samsung front load washer model: WF419AAw/XAA 03. There are some great YouTube videos on how to do this. For $18 you can't beat it. As others have said, the cover will need to be modified to fit it. I just left it off. The only thing different i saw was this pump is 85 watts and the original pump is 80 watts. Add some gasket lube to the O-ring.

This item was 1/4 the price of a local distributor. The original pump lasted 7 years, let's see how long its replacement lasts. Not to take a chance, I just ordered another one. VERY easy to install. Had my 15 year old nephew put it in with no parts left over. Watching the YT videos helps- but doesn't cover all the bases. You need to figure out some things out yourself.

Had to slightly modify the part to install by snapping off the cover of the mounting bracket but the dollars saved with this part was worth it. Works fine.

The unit seated correctly, and the screws and electrical connections matched perfectly. Minor issue, the plastic cowling off of the old pump doesn't fit this one. But unless the shocks on the drum break completely, nothing is close enough to touch the exposed metal on the top of the pump. So all that was lost was the dust cover on top of the motor.

Pump arrived on time & relatively straightforward to install. Works as it should.Why the original should fail after a few short years is beyond me. The motor worked, but the plastic impeller was no longer sufficiently attached to the shaft. I could probably fix it with a small drill bit and a 'pin'. Obviously not a high quality part given they're available all over the place - and there are multiple you-tube videos on how to replace them. I won't be buying samsung anything anytime soon. Remember the old Maytag Repair man commercials? The old top-load washer it replaced was working fine after 20+ years & is probably still going strong. Bought this one because it looks better. There is a second pump in my washer that circulates during the wash cycle. I'm waiting for it to fail too.

The pump was straight forward to install and worked exactly as it should. Saved me hundreds of dollars on a repair. Just remove the back panel, reach in, remover 2 bolts and a wire clip, then replace doing exactly the reverse. P.s. watch out for the metal edges on your washer as you will get cut.

Its not the exact same as the original but it works,.

Awesome pump and showed up in just a few days. Equivalent match to my Maytag Washer pump direct fit.
