Great bulb and great customer service!
I have bought items from Zilla before and never had any issues. This time, my heat bulb blew out in 2 weeks. I contacted them and they immediately sent me another one, no questions asked! I am very happy with this company, and this particular heat bulb is perfect for my tropical terrarium.

Zilla products/lights
My turtle tank was not warm enough with just the day lights so added the red night light and it has helped tremendously. Produce came quickly and as described.

Makes the perfect adult night light!
These Halogen bulbs arent for everyone but if they meet your needs then your'e really gonna come to love 'em.Most impressively, I haven't managed to break one. Iv'e dropped them three times now, even while burning hot, and they just keep on working. I think the Mini Dome Lamp acts like a protective shell somehow because of it's larger, plastic circumference. The packages they come in are about as big as business cards. I don't know why I'm surprised but the two I received in a recent Amazon delivery had no protective covering like bubble wrap and despite coming with a large ET snake and Gecko Cave, neither one with much protective packaging either, still, both bulbs arrived intact.I previously mentioned they're not for everyone simply because they only come in 25W and 50 Watts.I currently use and enjoy the 25 Watt, Night Red. And the lamp really glows night red too. Because I just think it's beautiful, and allows me to take such great pictures of my enclosures, it really seems to be a staple in each of my four all glass ET Terrariums. That Infra Red glow somehow makes even the most minimally designed terrarium, think Gecko, look special. Despite the Gecko not really needing heat from above, it's really a minor concession I make for myself. And at 25W I seem to get away with it.Plus, some top heat still keeps that wet Forest Moss a little warmer for my Leo. But most of all, that red glow is kinda like an adult night light for my bedroom too.I'm also using it currently and quite effectively for my Exo-Terra 18L" x 18W" x 24H". My juvie Water Dragon seems none the worse for it now since he moved in back in May. I got 'em as a baby and let's just say it, he, she is not a baby anymore. I tried the 50W in this enclosure but, despite an air conditioned room, it seemed a little excessive. So I guess these little bulbs aren't to be underestimated either. There is some debate regarding whether the Infra Red spectrum is visible to reptiles or not. Many think, as I did, that all reptiles cannot see Infra Red so the thinking was that it could be left on all night without any stressful effect. But I recently came across a YT video where somebody says Beardies can see it so maybe you wanna do some research before you buy.I have a pair of 20L Zilla Critter Cages. These "Critter Tanks" are only 12" deep so this Zilla Mini Halogen Reptile Bulb really shines.I'm currently thinking about using two 25W bulbs if only to increases the basking area in my juvenile Bearded Dragon tank.At this wattage (25W) and height (12") I find that I'm getting less of a useable basking area. And with two juvenile beardies one bulb just doesn't seem enough somehow. Of course, you can't talk about these bulbs without also talking about the Zilla, Light and Heat, Halogen Mini Dome which is what you'll need for these bulbs. The Mini Dome is, in fact, just that! I bet they're just about the smallest profile reptile lamp on the market at only four inches tall. If you seem to be enlarging your family of reptiles, and who isn't these days, you'll appreciate the fact that you can stack your enclosure habitats, on say, a wire shelving unit without sacrificing much real estate to make room for your lighting enclosures. Also, any screen top enclosure works well with the Halogen Mini Dome since an included spring attachment secures it nicely to the screen. Also included are 3 metal "legs" that can be screwed onto the Mini Dome helping it form a tripod of sorts. This can be handy to help give you some height up off the screen enabling a physical temperature regulating measure if needed. I have taken to bending the metal legs to suit whatever height I deem necessary. The Price for the Zilla, Light & Heat Mini Dome can vary as much as $10 to $13 here on Amazon. I have also seem them for as much as $19.00 in the big Pet Stores so shop around.

Good and bad
This is a great product for heat output, but it has only lasted 2, 3 months each time.

Tiny and Awesome
I love this, it's tiny and gets decently hot, and it's cheaper than regular basking bulbs from my local pet store. I am currently using it for my bearded dragon, the only drawback is I think I will need to buy a second fixture to get his basking spot up to temp, because it's not quite as hot as it should be with just the one. But they are tiny, and I mean tiny, like I was shocked when I opened it and saw how small the fixture was, so it won't be a problem fitting another one on top of the tank.I can't say anything about it saving hydro as I have yet to get my hydro bill since I've gotten it, and really I don't think one light changed is going to make a huge impact.

Long Lasting Light
I’ve used these for my snake terrarium for ages. This brand holds up well and lasts quite a long time. Just make sure you use a Kleenex or cloth to remove it from packaging and installing. Any oil from your hands will shorten the life of the bulb.

Great idea, but doesn’t last long
was great while it worked, burnt out after a couple weeks. bought non zilla brand ones instead for much less.

Problem solved
The only thing is that when I first plugged it in, it would not turn on. So I thought the bulb is a defect or got damaged on the way. Then I googled and saw the others had the problem. All we have to do is to open up the legs of the bulb a bit wider. Been using it for 2 weeks, not any problems afterwards.
