This is a nice bench for the price. The wood isn't the best and the finish isn't expertly applied but it was super easy to put together and is very sturdy.I have a much nicer teak bench in the guest bathroom that cost 4 times this but this is quite serviceable. Great for the price at least at first blush. I will report later if there are issues over time.Someone said their bench stained the floor in the shower with run-off so I'm going to let this one weather outside for awhile.

The product is great and appears very durable and a great value. There is some assembly required with this so prepare yourself mentally. On a scale of 1 to IKEA, you’re probably sitting around a 2 so don’t worry too much about the confusing axonometric diagrams that no one can follow. And you won’t even see a little guy with an X saying it’s too heavy for 1 person.

This replaced our ugly shower bench. It looks great and didn't take a lot to put together. It is solid and the sitting area is large enough and comfortable. The teak wood isn't slippery so I feel safe getting up and down from it. It's the perfect size and adds a "spa-like" look to our walk-in shower.

Well made, easy to assemble. Beware that after a few weeks of use the stain coating will bleed and stain a shower base floor. We have a fiberglass base and may not be an issue with a tiled floor.

Idiot proof assembly instructions. The hex tool that's included isn;t the greatest. I had to use my own about half way through because the metal was so bad on the one included. Otherwise this is a well designed and sturdy unit with good hardware to hold the bench together. I would recommend it despite the cheap hex tool that they give you for assembly.

This is a beautiful piece of furniture. Sturdily made, easy to put together. A bit heavier than I anticipated, but I'm still able to lift & carry it. There is a bench in shower but it's too tall for me to sit on. This little bench also makes a nice table outside the tub. I highly recommend this shower seat.

Sturdy. Well built (because I put it together...but still it had to be manufactured correctly and it is). Perfect for shaving, or just sitting in the hot shower. Great for older people needing a little help in the shower.If I had to complain about anything it would be the oil coming off onto my shower floor and staining the floor. I was able to scrub it clean. I think it was the excess oil, it's not running off any longer. I have had this just about a year and it still looks very dark and not dried out at all. I will be re-oiling it this summer, and I will probably see the oil runoff again. If you have a plastic shower pan I would not use in the shower for fear the oil/stain would stain your shower floor.

I bought this for my husband to use in the shower while recovering from surgery, but it turns out that I love to use it!It's very sturdy. I was actually surprised!There was one stripped bolt, but we used the driver drill to get that one in. Everything else was done by hand, no problem.It's a 5 minute project.
