I have used this hair dye for a couple of years. It covers all grey - great colours.It is easy to use and no mess

This shade comes out darker than medium brown. I have yet to find a permanent hair colour that covers all of my grey hairs. I have alot of stubborn grey along the hair line and this product like many others does not cover it. If you are over 50 this may not work for you but younger hair colouring is much easier. Very disappointed.

I love the colour so much (mahogany). i have bought multiple packs. it does fade as all dyes do, but they are so cheap it really doesn’t matter so i redo every 3 weeks. covers all my grey hairs 100% . will be using for the foreseeable future

Light Ash Blonde:During my lifetime of colouring my hair, I have used many different brands and colours and like many other users have varying results.As I have gotten older, I have been finding it difficult to stay a light-ish shade of blond which suits me best with it still covering grey areas. My last brand was ok but not perfect so I went in search again for a different brand.This is my first - and last try with this particular 'Vital' colour - in fact, I am left with 2 of the 3 boxes I purchased as I was so unsatisfied and disappointed with it.The disappointment was not just the VERY strong odour/fumes but also it burned my head and when a little got onto my finger when removing a hair away from my face - it burned the outer surface of my skin on my finger tip! It is rare that I have ever had my head sting from hair colour - it is inevitable getting some sting with what the product is but it is always bearable - until this one.BUT, the most disappointing thing was, I actually watched my hair turning whiter! When the colour was rinsed out, I was left with less colour in my hair than before I started! It had actually stripped some of my previous colour away at the top front of my hair! I have never had that happen before with any brand! The paste is white and I said to my husband that I can't be sure but it looks like my hair is actually going white...not just the paste colour - and once I rinsed my hair I was right! I had actually spent a long time and effort in making my hair look worse than it did before!I am sure this colour would be great for someone that doesn't have any grey areas to cover as it is actually very light, BUT it is nothing like any other ash blond I have used and I have used several - it is nothing like an ash blonde...it is just a light blond in comparison to others.Rarely for me, I waited only a week and did my hair again (normally 5 weeks in between colouring) with my old faithful 'Clairol light ash blonde' to put some colour back into my hair and it was once again back to how it should be.Needless to say but I shall not be purchasing this again and on my own experience, I cannot recommend this particular shade even though it is possible that other shades may not have the same effect.

I’ve never seen this in the shops and I seem to have exhausted all options for home dye options for brunette hair. This doesn’t fade and actually seems to adhere to my greys. Quite surprised nearly 2 weeks later you can only just make out my regrowth. By this time usually most of my dyed greys would be un-dyed again. Will defo repurchase this. Brilliant price also.
