Works Great out of the box
I purchased a gigbar2 from a pawn shop and of course it was missing the remote. The manual setup of the bar is a PITA and I don't have time for all of that. I was actually in the middle of a live set when Amazon dropped off the remote and I wasted no time messing with the options on the remote.Recommend (((((5)))))) <----- A must have.

Suggested by Amazon but doesn't work yet
First of all the remote I received is missing three buttons A UV and W. I bought two Intimidator wave lights and Amazon suggested I purchase this remote along with it. My experience so far is it does not work after I set the Intimidators to IR setting. Maybe the battery's dead in the remote regardless I don't think they sent me the IRC 6. How to sent 2 emails to Chauvet technical support but have not received any reply yet. Up to this point I've been really happy with every piece of Chauvet equipment I've purchased which has been quite a few. And Amazon has always been stellar with service and support. Could be a dead battery or operator error. Film at eleven. But there's no way I could have lost three buttons :-)

Remote is rather unresponsive, and Chauvet documentation isn't correct
I got this because my GigBar Flex since I had no way to control it. I would have used a DMX controller if possible, and I recommend you do so. About half the time, the buttons don't work. Either because they're squishy and cheap or because you have to point the remote directly at the IR sensor in order for it to work. The instructions on the Chauvet website are also a complete joke. You can usually figure out the basic controls like enabling auto mode, sound active, changing colors, etc. Everything else takes a lot of troubleshooting and a lot of the buttons just won't do anything with certain fixtures. Only buy this remote as a last resort, otherwise, control with DMX.

This was very easy to use and control my Kitna FX
The media could not be loaded. Super Dope remote. This thing was the missing puzzle piece. Absolutely Love it!!! If you don't have it purchase it. Got here the very next day. After using it I purchased another one. Just for back up at our ArT~n~V!b3 showcase. 10 out of 10. No disappointments.
