It is perfect for preteens and teens. it has a section at the top of each page explaining, in simple terms, and overview of that section of the bible. then below that blurb are key passages pulled from the bible. each daily reading is only one page! :)

Great DEVOTIONAL... Is NOT the entire Bible.Bought this as a gift not realizing that is a devotional for each day of the year. The scripture used is there in reference for the author's work/ thoughts. I should have read the description on Amazon a little better however, it never specifies. The title was a little misleading to me (just my opinion).
