Use it in the shop it’s quick to use and can be turned off when not in use. Keep it above the till. Nice bit of kit.

The listing says and shows it comes with a standard UK plug, but this is not true. The item is a cheap knock off and shouldn't be allowed to be bought online. The plug it comes with has no fuse installed and is a solid plug, this item was not made in the UK due to the dangerous plug attached to it and would cause a fire sooner or later. Plus if the lamp breaks you can't even get it out to replace it.

I would recomend for small bars or restaurants that may get large notes occasionally, the cost means that when the tube goes its cheap enough to simply replace the unit, it fits under our counter so we can check notes without the worry of being ripped off.

Yes this is good, but I wish it came with instructions and what to look for. I looked on google in the end, to see what I had to look for, as well as holographic images, and didn’t realise there were dots on the notes for blind people. All this need to be explained on instructions.
