Are these suitable for a 5 year old. He’s begging for them but I think they are babyish?

Are they hard or soft blocks? Im looking for more foam type ones to go with the ones I have.

They r hard blocks ,same as Lego just 10 x bigger

How big are the individual blocks?

The larger bricks are 30cm and the smaller ones are half that size.
