These are for camping/hiking, etc. safety items for us. They are pretty loud but not durable I feel. I didn't want plastic, but these don't seem to be made well. Very hard to blow to get the correct db in an emergency situation.

Great whistle, you barely have to blow harder than a normal breath to get a really loud sound out if it. If you were trapped or lost and needed to signal for an extended period of time, or were injured or stuck so that you couldn't blow hard very well, this would come in really handy. The whistle is a dull grey color and pretty light for it's size, I just hooked it on my keys and I'll forget it until I need it. It'll make a great addition to my edc, or to a survival kit.

Like it's a solid 2 cavity gunpowder color whistle with a lifetime warranty. It's on a dainty keyring like 2 others we bought for comparison. Will buy again as we liked it over the Noopel 3 tube whistle body and shivivik 2 cavity gold tone emergency whistle body. All 3 made in China.
