SINGER40792 Stiletto/Seam Ripper Multi Tool, Blue, White

Super easy to hold and use. It’s better than the typical ones that come with sewing machines and save my hands from cramping during long projects.

Works great. Great for traveling with a sewing machine. Convenient size and a two in one tool.I was able to take out a great deal of stitches from canvas material stitched with upholstery thread (really thick thread) without any issues. Lid stays on securely. Ripper is plenty sharp and the fairly strong. Better than the low end small seam rippers. TIP: Remember to let the string slide down into the ripper, as the blade is in the curve of the ripper to avoid cutting oneself when using. Do NOT use the tip to pry open seams. Seam rippers are not prying tools.The stiletto is a bit short and the tip is a bit wide, but otherwise works well. Most stilettos allow you to push fabric right up to the needle, great for quilting. This one can only be used up to the sewing machine foot. Not as effective, but still works. Perhaps better for a beginning seamstress or quilter, will not damage fabric or potentially break a needle. The rubber tip sticks well on most fabrics. It should work well on delicate fabrics or anything that might get damaged using a sharp stiletto.
