Review: High quality, great battery life, swivel head is sweet!! - As always, bosch is the highest quality out there. Great tool, plenty of power for it's intended application. If you are complaining about lack of clutch settings on this tool, you probably shouldn't be using a professional right angle drill. As others have mentioned, it will strip screws if you use it like a caveman. For those of us out there that actually know what we are doing, this tool is great: I love the swiveling head action and having the led lights are always a nice bonus, almost expected nowadays though. Chuck isn't a metal ratcheting chuck like I would prefer, but the plastic sleeve chuck grips bits very tightly with no slippage and appears to be of considerable toughness and quality. The paddle trigger is the best of any tool I have used, no "dead spots" where the tool won't engage like others I have used. Very responsive and variable. I have had no issues with the battery not coming out of the tool or not going into the charger. Something tells me the other reviewers who mention this are either suffering from "operator error", or simply just got a one-off bad battery, which happens with all tools every now and then. I got this on desertcart on sale for 85 bucks with coupon, but it's still worth it at the retail of 120. Pull the trigger, it's worth the money and then some.

A: For those of you that don't understand battery technology, "12" volt batteries are comprised of three 3.6-volt cells.  3 x 3.6 = 10.8 volts.  "12" volts is just a marketing gimmick just like a "20 volt max" is really 18 volts and a "40" volt battery is really 36 volts.  Some countries have laws that make it illegal to round up the nominal voltage value so Europe calls it 10.8 volts and the United States calls it 12 volts, but they are the same battery system.

As always, bosch is the highest quality out there. Great tool, plenty of power for it's intended application. If you are complaining about lack of clutch settings on this tool, you probably shouldn't be using a professional right angle drill. As others have mentioned, it will strip screws if you use it like a caveman. replaces Bosch PS-10. Not a fan of the twist chuck, which is slick plastic with such small indentations I cannot get a good grip (why I graded down one star to four). Should be rubber or more pronounced grip indents. This driver is much bigger than the predecessor PS10, which has the "slip-in" hex chuck, so much easier to use. Dear Bosch, bring back the PS10 please.
