In terms of functionality, this beats other oven thermometers hands down!The reading unit is placed outside the oven so you do not have to open the oven door to see the temperature reading.It also has 2 probes - for meats, I normally use 1 probe to measure the internal meat temperature and 1 probe to measure the oven temperature.You can also set temperature alarms separately for both probes.Great buy!

Completely satisfied with the product and the seller, had recently bought a Weber kettle but the gauge thermometer was not accurate and was also not able to see the meat temp. ThermoPro now gives me accurate reading of the meat internal temp and has taken the guess work out of my smoking of meat... an excellent buy

Temp gauge works perfectly, though its little expensive but can understand that seller needs to make profit too after paying their commission to Amazon. Used it it got perfect result.
