DryFur Pet Carrier Insert Pads Large - 2 pack

Have used these for both dogs (50& 60 lbs.) from Honolulu-Atlanta and from Washington D.C. to Seoul. Fasted the dogs food for 24 hrs prior to flight but allowed water. Learned on our flight from Chicago- Honolulu that fasting 12 hours wasn't enough. Have had more than one Vet say it's safe even up to 36 hours for food fast. Both times dogs arrived dry and clean thanks to these. I order two per crate for the large and extra large cargo crates then duct tape them down along the edges. You can see they were peed on but they are dry and so are the dogs. Great customer service from company as well. Good experience, highly recommend.

DO NOT use these in a crate if you have to fly with a pet. Any pet with even a small amount of anxiety or boredom will have these shredded in no time. The interior layers are made up of brown craft-style paper and PLASTIC(!) bubble wrap. Plastic is a serious choking hazard so I have no idea why it would be included in a product that many pets would tear up. Needless to say, these did not hold up for my cat (who has no front claws) nor my dog.

My dog needed to be transported from Poland to California. These pads fit perfectly in the Sky Kennel intermediate size kennel and my dog arrived dry and clean. I would recommend them to anyone that needs to keep a pet in a crate for an extended amount of time.

I used these for my pup when flying overseas. The come in different sizes and fit perfectly in the crate.They are perfect! They give the dog a nice little cushion in the crate, when they travel. So, they aren’t sitting on the old plastic. They are super absorbent. It reminds me of a baby’s diaper. If the animal urinates, it is quickly absorbed and solidifies. So, you don’t have to worry about them having to travel wet or stinky. I put on in his crate and then packed the other in my luggage, in case he needed the first one replaced on during our layover. They hold up really well. I recommend these pads and I only use this brand for my pup.

These fit perfectly in my cat's pet carrier for a long haul flight from Chicago to Frankfurt. The package comes with two pads and, since our cat had plenty of extra space in his carrier, we put both pads in, then put his bed on top. Sometime during the flight our cat pulled his bed aside and urinated directly onto the pads in the back corner of his crate. The urine did pass through the first pad but the second pad caught the overflow. The urine was locked inside the pad and never wet through his bed once the bed was back on top of the pads. I like the rigidity of these pads--there's no way they'll bunch up in the crate and they won't be shredded. Overall I was very happy with the quality and performance of these pet carrier pads.

These are great at trapping urine under the outer layer. We used these for our dogs 16 hour flight and she had one accident on them and seemed not at all bothered by the liquid. Didn't smell bad either. Seller was really great and communicative as well.

I use these when our dog flies with us in the plane (she is a large German Shepherd). She must fly in the hold. These are not wee wee pads so do not have any scent. I need two to put in the bottom of her crate. I use my own double sided tape to secure them to the bottom. This way, if her water bowl spills, she has a little protection and does not have to sit in water. She has a strong bladder and is super well trained so even on a 15 hour flight, she never soils her crate in any way.

The pads are high quality and will do the job but the cross-selling information on the product page might be a bit misleading. I bought these to use with a Petmate Sky Kennel size large but they do not cover the entire floor of the kennel. Because the sizes of the two products don't line-up, the pads slide around (which caused my pet to slide around) when being transported, which is not ideal.The pads were on the "bought frequently together with" section of the Sky Kennel product page.

We have a large, 16lbs, cat. He flies in baggage. These pads are wonderful. We fly from Oregon to Baja Sur and the trip can be a 12+ hour trip by the time we arrive at home in Baja. He stays dry because the pads are so absorb ant. Plus he is a very good kitty!

We bought these to put inside large kennels to fly our cats from Hawaii to the East Coast. We were worried that they would be super messy because the flights were so long, but cats can hold it for a while and neither of them went to the bathroom. It was nice to have extra piece of mind with the pads, though.

BEST invention ever. I brought 8 rescue cats back from Okinawa..that's an 16 hr flight and over 24 hrs of travel. I had no idea, none, that they didn't hold it until I cleaned out the cages after a night's sleep and saw the stain on the pad. No smell! Highly recommend!!!!!

I guess I was thinking by the picture it was more thicker , but it was actually cardboard inside with bubble wrap. The dogs did well with this for flight and pee absorbs good well.

These pads are well made and sturdy. I bought them to use to bring a new puppy home on a 600 mile car trip. I put a puppy pad on top, but that would not have been necessary. It did enable me to get more use out of the pads. They are very absorbent and do a great job. Not a cheap product, but a well made one that does its job well.

I purchased these pads to line a large carrier for a long-distance drive with my cats. I'm glad I got them! When we got to our destination, there were a few spots where it was obvious someone had an accident, but there was no wetness or puddles. Saved me from having to give a couple of cats a bath!

This is so much better than any of the cheap paper types you find in the stores.I am very happy with this purchase and will wait to see how it holds up on our 17 hour flight.I ordered an extra set so I can change it out during our connections.
