Arm & Hammer Baking Soda -16oz

This 64-ounce box of baking soda is a total staple in my home. The quantity is generous and the quality is great—fine, fresh, and easy to scoop and use. What I love most is how incredibly versatile it is. I. Use it for so many things around the house. For cleaning, I mix it with vinegar or lemon to scrub my bath rubs and sinks and my ground with it. It works wonders on those stubborn stains and it also deodorizes surfaces. I also put some in the bottom of my trash cans. For my laundry, I add a scoop or two to my wash to freshen up my towels and bed linen. It eliminates odors from my son’s sweaty practice clothes. For deodorizing, I keep an open container in the refrigerator. As mentioned earlier, I also sprinkle it in my trash cans, and again, in my son’s basketball shoes and football cleats. I occasionally will use it as a natural toothpaste to whiten our teeth or if I am out of my exfoliating scrub, I will use it on my face (for real! It works wonders!) Recently, I started making DIY toilet bombs, and I use it along with citric acid, and essential oil and make them to freshen my toilet bowls. When I’m making my air fresheners and I run out of the good smelling stuff, I’ll add this instead. There’s just so many uses for this product, that the possibilities are endless! And this size makes it economical and long-lasting. If you’re into DIYing or if you’re a germaphobe like me and like to clean, this product is essential and MUST be in your home at all times! I can’t recommend this enough!

I bought this to use on our carpet and deodorize a closet. We have dogs and while they are lovely, they make the whole house smell like them. This baking soda worked as it should have - I put some in a few bowls and sprinkled it on the carpet, and it deodorized everything. The box was intact, and it wasn't as messy as I fear it would be - a little baking soda was in the shipping box, but it was manageable.

I bought this box of Arm & Hammer, to clean my costume jewelry. Beings that I only need a table spoon of this for each batch, I also decides to make some carpet freshner as well. This one box cleaned not only all my costume jewelry (some 100+ peices), it also made two 12oz bottles of different carpet fresh scents and still had half a box left. Excellent packaging, arrived early, and you can't beat the price anywhere for the volume of baking soda. I plan on using about a quarter of what's left to make my own laundry soap as soon as the other ingredients arrive.I will most definently be ordering this product from this seller again, only more boxes of it this next time.

Here you go, dump this huge box of backing soda on your mattress, sprinkle it around heavy, you will use the whole box + someLeave for as many days as you can 2-3-4, vacuum off, and your mattress will be restored to new; or at least mine were andastounded at the crud that arose even with freshly laundered mattress pads, it was actually BLACK, yuck, cannot imagine howthat happens, but it did on two beds. I will be doing this process periodically. Certainly refreshes beds, smell nice also.

This is a good size for the price. Baking soda has so many uses so it makes sense to get the bigger size.The box does not leak which i have had issues with in other products.I do wish there was an opening that allowed you to sprinkle,dump, or close the baking soda. The box just has a punch out slot.

Have a coffee stain at the bottom of your mug? How about spoon scrapes from whipping up sugar? Sprinkle it all over inside and let it sit a minute, then use a good paper towel and scrub...you’re welcome.

What can one say about baking powder? Arm & Hammer is probably the best brand. A use that, possibly, not too many people know about is as a toothpaste. Mixed with a little salt and hydrogen peroxide, the concoction makes for a perfect toothpaste.....one which actually kills germs, unlike the usual toothpastes on the market.
