Just as you would expect....
If you a familiar with acid brushes, this is the same as all the rest. The quality doesn't seem any different no matter where you got them from. People with poor reviews expect far too much for far too little and don't understand the intent of these brushes. Personally I use them for grease, anti seize, contact cement, gasket maker, wood glue, etc..... I do use them for paint, but only in places where brush marks don't matter (I've used them to paint serpentine pullies, while the engine was running - not a task for a good brush!). Yup, they will leave horrible brush marks. Yup, bristles can fall out. Yup the metal handle can have sharp-ish edges. Nope, they don't clean well. If any of that bothers you, you are looking at the wrong brush for the wrong job. If you get the intent and know what an acid brush actually is (and that is a cheap-az brush to slop misc goop on and then throw away), buy with confidence - same as it ever was....

Just what I needed
I was painting the hard to reach areas on radiators. These are small and because they are metal, I can bend the ends to reach angles and areas behind things. The brushes aren't very wide, so they don't hold much paint, which is a downside. I'd rather that, than them being too big to fit. I used a small dowel shoved into the end to get greater reach. I didn't bother cleaning them. They were cheap so I abused them for my needs, bending the metal/cutting the bristles, then just threw them away afterwards. You get lots of them, so there was no need to waste the time effort cleaning them.

NO CLEAN UP NEEDED
The value is good. Use it then straight to the trash. Saves time on any clean up.

A little hairy for epoxy
I use these as disposable brushes for epoxy application on small areas of my boat. They are a good size and they work well but with the thicker epoxy, hairs come loose quite frequently. I fix this by putting a small drop of super glue at the base of the hairs and squirt on some accelerator. It solves the problem but is a step that I wish I didn’t need to do.

Quality control?
Used for hobby painting on train layout.Sheds bristles like a dog in summertime. Got to smash metal end over bristles with hammer. Unless you like picking them out of your wet paint.
