The only knock I have (and it's not really a knock) is the belt clip has notches made on the inside designed to match the indents made on the sleve of the phone to hold it place when placed in the clip, this is very effective and I assure you that your phone won't ever slide out the clip. (LMAO) In fact if your in emergency services you don't need to worry about your phone falling out at all if running. Other than that this is an excellent product and exactly what I needed. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Not great *by C***N on Reviewed in the United States on February 25, 2021* The belt clip is sturdy and the softshell portion is decent quality material. Couple problems: the power button is very difficult to press you need to really crank down on it, but then if you have it out in cold weather it seems to shrink enough to depress the power, PTT, and volume keys all on its own. Unfortunately the softshell needs to be on the phone for it to fit correctly in the belt clip, which is the part I mainly purchased this for, the XP8 really doesn't even need a shell style case. Wish I'd looked more closely into this before buying. It's not terrible but for the price I definitely feel it could have been better. ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars Bulky and sturdy *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on June 29, 2020* The case itself is decent. The phone itself is bulky and the case adds a little more but i wouldn't have bought a sonim if i was worried about that. My only real complaints are 1. Its hard to press the side buttons with the case since theyre already recessed into the phone body, and 2. The actual black holster hold dirt/sand and will wreck the glass screen.Other than that its a decent case, easy to grip with greasy or wet hands and adds a bit more fall protection. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.ph/products/98836094-wireless-protech-case-with-clip-compatible-with-sonim-xp8-phone](https://www.desertcart.ph/products/98836094-wireless-protech-case-with-clip-compatible-with-sonim-xp8-phone) --- *Product available on Desertcart Philippines* *Store origin: PH* *Last updated: 2026-10-22*
