VALLEY FRESH Chunk Chicken, 5 oz , Pack of 24

In the summer, I'm an extremely lazy cook. I'd rather be outside than babysitting a stove. And who wants to heat up your house and pay higher electric bills. Not me. So I cheat. A lot. This is one of my cheats.I buy canned meats, broth, and frozen veggies. These can be made into a million meals in under 20 minutes. It's not an everyday thing but I do it!!This is our preferred brand. You get quite a bit of the broth/water in the can but that's okay because I do one to one of those and water and give it to my dogs in the form of ice cubes for the dog bowl on hot days. One or two added to a gallon bowl makes them very happy and more eager to drink.This makes good chicken salad, can be added to a green salad, added to quesadillas, tacos, burritos, pizza, whatever you want. Buy the case, you'll find ways to use it that will surprise you. Be lazy in the heat, I won't tell!

Very tasty chicken and lower in salt than most canned chicken. There IS a bit too much water in it, but other than that its a nice snack for me or my kitties. I like that its in 5oz cans rather than those larger sizes you typically find. I plan on buy more. It is also a bit pricey but will monitor the price to catch the deals.

We do a fair amount of camping and these are perfect for the times that I need some easy to make chicken. Found myself a little protein depleted last evening and made a very quick and good tasting chicken soup. Put some organic unsalted broth in a bowl. Added some small carrots. Heated for 5 minutes and added some lemon. Because the soup was not seasoned enough for me, I added the small amount of salted packing water from the chicken can. Within minutes I had a great meal without the darned additives so many have.

During my subscription for canned chicken, the last 3 deliveries were missing 1 can.

Love the chicken, but the case we ordered was missing two cans.

The flavor is hands-down the best I have ever tried! Wouldn't know I didn't cook it and dice it from scratch. My ONLY complaint would be the small cans, wish they'd at least double the size. Have already ordered more so we have it in the pantry in case there is a time when it's not available for a while.

This is a very food thing to add to pasta or to just eat by itself. I like to open a can and add a small sprinkle of salt and just it the way it is. It doesn't really need anything else.

I love this product and would buy again if I could get the 10 oz cans. 5 oz is just too small.
