Danganronpa 2: Ultimate Luck and Hope and Despair Volume 2

Danganronpa is my favorite anime/game lmao and reading this point of view is so interesting! So I recommend it! Ire’s really good~

While I will be the first to tell you how let down I was after I realized that part 1 of this manga series acceptable adaptation of the video game's story, let me just say that this is not at all the case of this 2nd volume. A LOT of new insights and information is given and covered in this chapter and I love the fact that instead of being read and narrated through the eyes of Hajime Hinata (who u control for the entire game in Danganronpa 2), this time around you get to find out just what the creepy fan favorite Nagito Komaeda was up to and his outlook into the events and happenings of this killing game the participants must endure. Amazing book all on it's own, but the inclusion of details and conversations and thought perspectives that are here and not present in the game make this an excellent sequel one of my favorite series of all time! Great job!!

Just finished with the second volume, and was delighted to see that the manga starts to ramp up the mystery and suspense in the story. As one trial ends, another begins as the second motive is presented... and Nagito's behaviour grows to be more suspicious. But, what could his plans be?I'm really enjoying seeing a glimpse into what makes the Nagito character tick and what his motives are. Looking forward to reading the conclusion!

I recommend buying all of the book's since they nearly all leave us on a cliffhanger. I loved reading this at school and it introduced my friends to Danganronpa so now we can all be weebs. I love how they added some parts that weren't in the game for example, Nagito pulling Hajime's ahoge and giving us a little more detail on Nagito's past. I really recommend reading this.

wouldn't recommend unless you have watched/played danganronpa 2 and are a fan. it's a fun read then. this manga covers the end of trial one until near the end of trial two.
