I can see why they are 2+ years old, but if you take away the train body where the legs are to stack up the various block shapes, it seems fine for my 5/6 month old. The block shapes are helping her with her fine motor skills and she has more interest in clutching them than she does the set of square blocks we got gifted. Once she is not at risk of falling over, and she can sit up 100%, I will let her play with the rest of thetrain. I only unwrapped one caboose, it's more than enough of blocks for now. Her thumbs fit through the holes in the blocks, so I just watch her while she plays, seems work the money. Shes clutching objects much better now.

This a cute set train set but it’s too complicated for a toddler at 24 months. Some blocks have multiple holes and have to be inserted with matching blocks in order to stay on. If I put it together for my daughter she will push it around but it falls over easily. She seems to get frustrated with it easily and hasn’t played with much. I’m hoping she will enjoy it more in time.

My almost two year old loves his train!! My only complaint is in my inability to keep track of all the pieces lol

I love it, great colors and material but definitely a choking hazard for a 22 month old. So, if you are going to supervise your toddler while playing with it, it’s ok. If not, better pick other toy for him/she to play with.

Bought for my 7month old. Doesn’t quite get how to build the blocks in to a tower or know how trains work. But I like that they are wooden. I’m sure when he is older he’ll play with them. Love this.
