YERBA MATE CRUZ de MALTA 2.2lb 1 kilo (Pack Of 2)

I was introduced to Yerba Matè more than 15 years ago and, for me it is a superior replacement to coffee and the huge amount of energy drinks out there. But first, I want to tell you that this was purchased from Amazon and it shipped from Buenos Aires. Whoever produces, sells and ships this product is doing a wonderful job and had been my preferred supplier of this excellent product for years. Many examples of subjective experience, including mine say that the thought clarifying and alertness effect of Yerba Maté is different from that of caffeine and energy drinks. So I’ll say my experience is based on my personal opinion and that of people I know who say it has a similar effect for them. I am also a person who was diagnosed with AD/HD & related Autistic Spectrum Disorders when I was 39 years old. I have for years used the more common related medication such as Ritalin and Adderal for nearly 30 years. Because of public opinion about the small percentage of bad actors who do not use these meds for medically diagnosed conditions, responsible users, in my experience have found it more more difficult to find physicians or Psychiatrists who will prescribe it. Now we have encountered an unexplainable “shortage” of Adderal which has impacted many of us in the AD/HD & Autistic Spectrum Disorders community. I have found Yerba Maté to be good at helping me to move to an organic product that is legal, has a positive history of millions of users, inexpensive and easily available. I don’t drink soft drinks because of added sugars and lack of control of the amount of caffeine they contain and I don’t drink energy drinks for the similar reasons. In my experience, Maté takes 15 to 30 minutes to experience it’s alertness enhancing effects and they tend to fade after about and hour and one half. I make a small thermos daily which has a small cup as the lid. This makes it easy for me to drink approximately 1/2 to a full shot glass ever hour or so during the day. For me it is a tremendous help with none of the legal hassles or expenses of prescription medication. I still drink a few cups of weak coffee or tea because I like the taste of coffee and tea but I don’t need to depend on the caffeine in soft drinks, coffee teas or energy drinks to clear up my thinking. I am not advocating this a medical advice and am a strong believer in compensation techniques to improve focus, and help to sustain your attention over time. No drug can teach you anything or fix cognitive issues, but some can help you to pay much better attention and learn new ways to manage cognitive issues. I love this beverage and am very pleased with the order process and the quality of this product. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

The individual packages are wrapped in a plastic film so they are protected. The quality of this Yerba is consistently the same every time we order it not very strong but flavorful and long lasting.

I tried this for it's long-lasting qualities because I sip it all morning long as I write. I like it.

Great Yerba Mate, I have been using this company for 10yrs, love it, and best quality/price

I first bought some organic Yerba Mate in small packages on Amazon. This is my first bulk order of Yerba Mate tea so I am not sure if this is normal. The leaves have a lot of powder in them, different from the more expensive organic small packages. If I use the leaves straight in the cups, the tea is murky and not clear at all. So I learned a trick to quick rinse it in the strainer with hot water and then make the tea. Then most of the powder is washed off and I can have a clear green tea to enjoy. (I am still not sure if rinsing off the powder is a good thing or not, if that's where the key nutrients are...) if someone can tell me after reading my review, please post). The flavor is signature Yerba Mate no doubt. I am drinking a large pitcher of this daily, mixed with some ginseng, goji berries and dried dates. I keep the entire pitcher warm at 175 degrees and just drink this instead of water. I bought a tea maker kettle specifically for this after reading how good the Yerba Mate tea is. I plan to do this long term and reap the health benefits of Yerba Mate.

Good taste and not allot powder

I love this year. Great value for the price. This is what I have used for the last 5 years do make kombucha. It is perfect! Smells great!
