Kit has fine raised panel lines, Case XX wings, optional position speed brakes, weapons bay interior with optional position launchers and weapons bay doors, multi-part optional position canopy, 2 drop tanks and optional seated pilot figure. Also features resin parts (including cockpit, ejection seat, wheels, rudder, elevons, AIM-4A and D missiles (3 each), corrected contour radome and intakes) plus photo-etch parts (enhancements for cockpit, wheel wells, undercarriage, fuselage exterior, plus color instrument panel and consoles). I'd never built one before, so I'm sure I made a lot of mistakes, but I found the experience of replacing traditional styrene plastic pieces with resin pieces extremely frustrating, unnecessarily so. I'm sure that somebody with experience building resin kits wouldn't have made the same mistakes I did, but it wasn't a whole lot of fun building this.I would recommend that a casual model builder not use the brass etchings or the resin pieces. The styrene pieces are in the box, and you simply replace some of them with the resin pieces, which are a giant pain to use unless you're good with resin kits. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Still the best "Deuce" in 1/48 *by J***L on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on April 30, 2013* The old Monogram F-102A Delta Dagger has been around for over 25 years now, and it is still unmatched in overall shape and look, even though the contour of the nose radome is incorrect and the surface (raised) details a bit out of date. Gladly enough Encore is providing all the necessary high quality resin parts to improve this kit: a new correct radome, a full cockpit interior, new air intakes, improved wheel wells and better looking missiles. Decals are OK, but there exists many after market alternative decals for the "Deuce" in that scale. This kit is not for the beginners as mating resin parts to polystyrene ones requires a bit of clever surgery.
