**Q: Where is this set manufactured? Thank you.**
A: Don't known. The plastic on the scraper is cheaply made.

**Q: Why did my loaf come out doughy?**
A: There can be many reasons depending on what the recipe is and what you mean by doughy. Most likely answer is that the temperature you baked the dough in was incorrect or was not in the oven long enough. You have to take to account what you use to make the dough. Are you using a Dutch oven, bread tin, or baking sheet? All of these use a different temp and bake time. Or if you left the bread to cool down in whatever you baked it in instead of placing it on a cooling rack? I hope this helped.

**Q: Do bake with the dough in the basket, or is the basket just for proofing?**
A: The basket is for proofing the dough.  The dough will take on the shape of the basket and become a beautiful mound.  I turn it out in parchment paper and bake in an enameled Dutch oven.  
This is a great set in my opinion.

I love making sourdough bread. I had basic tools but was looking for a baguette pan. I decided on this set because it had some other items I was looking for too. Its a great kit. The pan is a little smaller then I expected but works great. I just divide my dough in half and make 2 smaller loafs instead of one large one and that actually works out better. I love the cloth to help shape the dough and hold it while its resting before I bake. I have not used the proofing bowl or the lame yet. I would recommend this kit for anyone wanting to make home made bread.

This is a great starter set but you do not get a bread board so you have to buy that. The scraper, mixer, and lame are finely made as is the bowl and loaf pan. Can’t ask for more and a very nice price to boot. I would buy again but these are all made to last so probably won’t ever need to. Don’t hesitate, you will not be disappointed. Be sure you want a 9” rising bowl and the loaf pans are a great length so you should be fine.
