Better than expected.
After buying an expensive one to have it fail just after warranty expired I was reluctant to buy another.This looked good in the pictures, and was a fair price. I am pleased to say on opening the box it was a pleasant surprise to find a useful tool, and addition to my photo lighting. the only problem I can find is that the front light is free to turn on the adapter ring, but I have already an idea in my head how to fix this easily.My earlier one can now give up its travel case to this one, so I have something back from it.

Fantastic little light! Just don't drop it!
This is great! Clicks onto my Nikon b600 really easily and works fantastic. Sadly did drop the light during a brain fart and it separated into 3 bits. Luckily it's held together with masking tape so I can carry on using it. It's great for product photograph.

Pretty good on the whole.
The delivery was brilliant two days early the packaging was decent large outer box and paper cushioning insideThe operation of the item is straight forward enough.One thing I was not happy with is the adaptor rings the sizes are minute and not highlighted luckily I had a magnifying glass to hand.The item does not come with batteries so i laid out for a set of re-chargables the instruction manual is easy to understand.In operation I find there isn't a lot of difference between min and full flash brightness and the light does not go very far but is good for close macro work.All in all you get what you pay for and at £25 it isn't bad though it's playing on my mind should I have paid a bit more for a bit better quality.Out of 10 its a 7.5 from me.

Perfect manual close quarter flash.
This is perfect from my needs and although it is not automated through the lens light readings it does the job once you have the measure of it. I use it for close up macro shots of all sorts. It took a few pictures to work out the camera settings and flash intensity setting but it comes fast. I also played it with close uo portraits and it does give a nice light, a new one for me that. Perfect for the price.

Cheap, poor quality product.
It's cheap, so didn't have high expectations. But the flash is really poor quality, and not really worth it's low price. Adapter rings fall out of the screw on the lens. Diffusers don't fit on the flash unit. And it's very low power. Might be ok for macro photography in some situations, but absolutely worthless for portaiture.
