Easy peasy spiralizer.
I like it, however, if you are trying to "spiralize" a carrot, it's hard to not waste the carrot. Better is the straight cutter I bought, a Julienne Peeler from Kuhn. I use this to cut up zucchini (middle size) and it was east to do. However it does take some wrist strength, some time, and it leaves a core of about 1/2inch of unused squash.Pro: Simple, stores in the drawer with all the other misc sharp things.Con: Takes time to do the cuts, and doesn't to things like carrots well.

Works wonders and easily cleaned...
I love this product. If you don't have the $200-300 for the fancy professional electronic devices this is a great alternative. It is super easy to use, very effective and easy to clean. We used it and made an amazing zucchini and yellow squash spaghetti. I didn't have a wire brush or any other fancy kitchen gadget to clean it. I do however have a lot of extra toothbrushes I keep for guests when they forget theirs. So I just use a toothbrush to clean the blades with hot water and dish soap. I use it all the time since I can not have pasta. Makes your salads look pretty as well. Bottom line great product.

small but ineffective
The first veggie that I tried was a firm Zucchini. Sadly a mashed zucchini was the result.I understood that spirilizers require firm veggies this one may require frozen ones.I put this purchase in my give away pile.BP

Ok but not what I expected. It does not spiral very consistently so you get little 1" pieces and sometimes smaller. This also leaves a large core to eat as is or chop up otherwise you are wasting half the vegetable. I will keep looking.

Could use a part that helps drive the veggies through it as only about 75% gets sliced just before you have to stop and avoid losing skin.

Works great!
I love this product because it makes thin continuous strands of zucchini. It's a bit tough to get to the end of the zucchini but I just save the end pieces for the next day to saute with onions.

Handy gadget!
Used it for the first time today (12/29) and it gave me some nice spiral slices. I will probably not use it often, but it is a good thing to have on hand for fancy dishes.

it does what it says it will but you have to have vegetables that are the right width to work, so you are limited to certain ones. Carrots need to be larger than what you can find in most stores.

Difficult to use and clean without dishwasher
I had high hopes for this (I am a big fan of the graters) but was disappointed at how hard it was to use. It is also nigh on impossible to clean properly without putting in a dishwasher as the blades are so far recessed. So this will not get you through a surplus of courgettes - unless you run the dishwasher constantly which is impractical. I would definitely say this is the most useless thing I have purchased for my kitchen and possibly for my home

Favourite vegie spiral maker
Great little gadget for producing vegetable spirals! Easy to use and clean (simply rinse after use). It has now become part of my kitchen travel kit, given its convenient weight and size. I have tried many different tools for making vegie spirals and this one has become my favourite. It has two built in sizes for producing thick and thin spirals. Appreciate its simplicity, nothing to assemble, and dishwasher safe. What’s not to like!

only ok
The idea is good but I find it a bit hard to use. You really have to use a bit of strength if you're using for a example a carrot. It works like a pencil sharpener and you can never get to the end of the vegetable so there is quite a bit of waste. I did not find an easy way to clean it and I feel three is always a bit of vegetable stuck between the blades.

Travaille vraiment bien!

Over half of the veg wasted. Ineffective.
I bought this because it was more compact than my large rotary style spiralizing contraption. I used this product on an average sized carrot and, despite already having some experience with spiralizing, found it impossible to get less than about 60% wastage. The core left behind is large compared to my other machine, and it is very hard to grip an inch of slippery carrot (even with a fork). The natural resistance of even these good quality microplane blades just makes the spiralizing messy and inefficient. Stick to the turn handle types. Have requested a refund.
