This is really a cute toy. Clever design & practical. Worth 10 bucks just to see and hold it.

Bought this because I keep getting 9 volt batteries lying around with plenty of charge left in them, but need replacement in smoke detectors -- which are the only thing around the house that uses 9 volts!!!! But I also regularly use flashlights so this will be a perfect solution.It comes with a battery already attached, and provides a nice bright light from a very compact package.My only criticism is the switch design. Putting the "off" position as the middle switch setting is awkward. I would have preferred "off" be all the was to one side, and full bright all the was to the other, with "dim" in the middle, so it'd be easier to quickly, simply flip it on or off in a hurry. But that is a small inconvenience and am considering buying another as a spare, I like it so much.

It is a very bright miniature flashlight, too bright for what I use it for…reading a road map before sunrise. I have to hold it 10-12inches away to see anything.

I ordered mine from Dacooler on May 8 and it arrived from China on May 26 (18 days) actually, I wasn't expecting it until June 8. It is well worth the wait. This little light is awesome. There are numerous reviews on youtube and everyone has nothing but praise for this little light. The light head detaches from a 9 volt battery, so when you run out of juice just attach another 9 volt battery. .Two settings two leds or 6 leds. The switch slides left or right for the 2 or 6 positions.So many uses for this little genius of a light. Purse, night stand, walk the dog. and a lot of you will appreciate that it is a perfect fit for an Altoid tin with a little room to spare It is a very bright light for its size.. My only regret is that i didn't order several of these but I will take care of that soon. I highly recommend the Blocklite 9 volt Flashlight.. It is well made and excellent quality materials.

I was struck by the innovation, a light that simply snaps onto a 9v battery. I often need a flashlight in my line of work and this is better than carrying a big, bulky light, but has more than enough power for me. I liked the design so much, I got them as stocking stuffers for my whole family last Christmas. These are also environmentally friendly, in that you can use the 9v batteries from your smoke detectors...once it starts beeping, the battery still has plenty of power left and can be used in this, and won't have to be thrown away and can have a second life in this light before it's completely drained.

Amazing! To have a light that can use a 9 volt battery in n emergency! All smooe detectors use a 9 volt. In a SUPER PINCH you could take this 9 volt from a non bedroom area for the flashlight till power restored and then put back in the detector

I was worried the light would be too loose on the battery. Not the case. It is snug and will not fall off easily. Makes for excellent EMERGENCY light. I plan to disconnect batter and store them in zip lock in my plane. I use 9 volt for headset so have spare bat. If you intend to use as a more day-to-day light I would put a strip of tape around the light to make it even more secure and less prone to come apart.

Great little lights to have. I had the paklites and loved them. Unfortunately the price has been going up on them so this one is great for affordable or to see if you actually like this type of flashlight. This one is much brighter than the paklite and will drain your battery faster,even on the lower setting. The trade of is fair bit of light so it's great to use indoors navigating in the dark and it's just enough to not trip over things outside.

Light works well....it is a nice option to have two light settingsIt looks like the high /low/off switch could be easily activated while in a pocket so be awareI am going to try this light for awhile but am fairly confident that I will be ordering a couple more as a way to get full use from the 9V batteries that still have life after use in smoke detectors and suchEdit.......lights are still great,,,,impressive output.I ordered 10 more and was double surprised......First surprise is they arrived in a few days with regular shipping estimate of a month plus??Second surprise was the extra $20,00 shipping charge that I was never informed about......not welcomed at all...almost refused shipment

I purchased the Blocklites to make use of used 9 Volt batteries from our smoke detectors. The small size and extreme brightness is really great.
