Automoblox Mini T9 Pick-Up

These little cars are so cool! My son loves to take things apart and put it back together, and I love the concept of wooden toys. These are really nice because each car comes with around 8 to 10 parts which easily connect with each other and if you have multiple cars you can interchange the parts to build your custom cars. Yes, they are a bit pricey, but if you look out for promotions you can find these for around $7 on sale. For younger kids (around 4-5) I would recommend these minis instead of the regular version (which cost around $50) so that they can get a feel for it and we can see if they really like it. I got to say, I find myself playing with these when my son is not around. Quite fun!

The parts have a common color code which was nice discovery, considering the 3yo now has three of them and undoubtedly will soon have more. Actually, he noticed the color-code before I did.The cars are finished very well and the craftsmanship is excellent. Cost is a bit higher than I would like, but still recommended.

This mini pick-up truck is perfect & my son loves playing with it. It's very well made & my son loves being able to take it apart & build it again. The pieces also fir well with other cars sets the same size & made by the same company.

My 3-year-old son loves this little truck. I got it for him as a step up from the mega blocks cars & trucks (they have 3 parts, and he loved to mix and match them).This truck has 12 pieces - three wooden "body" parts (4 1/2 inches long assembled), four wheels (about 3/4 inch each), four rubbery tires, and 1 windshield. As I understand it, these parts should be interchangeable with other autos in the minis series. There are also "repair" kits available, which I think my little guy will really enjoy since he already likes tinkering with the parts he has.So far he only has one Automoblox, but we're planning to add a few to his collection. The pieces seem very solid, and I think it will last for quite a while as long as we don't lose any! If you have smaller siblings around, just beware - the wheels & tires on this are pretty small! Overall, I'm pleased with the quality of this truck, and my son loves it!

I'm not die-hard Lego fan. But we bought this as a gift for a kid who is, and his mom's feedback was that he loved building something other than Legos - and the interchangability of the sets is fun and adds to creative play.

My 4 year old nephew loved it. It was the one birthday gift he kept in his hands the rest of the day. He had it apart and together and apart and together without anyone helping. I'm ordering more so the grandsons can enjoy. I'd suggest buying several so you can mix and match to make new configurations.

In my job, I often have to understand how complicated automobile accidents occur. This simple toy helps visualize how vehicles move through accident sequences. The children who occasionally visit my office also have fun playing with it.

my son loves these wooden automoblox vehicles - he has almost the entire collection and is the envy of his cousins and friends. It really does motivate him to be imaginative. He loves breaking and building and coming up with all sorts of different combinations.

To specifications. Gifted to little boys for their second birthday. They loved it - and then went on to expect that every car/vehicle thereafter could be taken apart put together :). I call that a successful gift!

I purchased this truck and the yellow C9 for my 2yr old(he loves Lego & cars so I thought these would be a hit).They are a bit smaller than expected, but still a good size. The cars glide smooth and have nice rubber wheels.A couple of things I don't like about the cars are how easily the plastic pieces and wheels come off. If the cars bump into a wall or go over slight bump of the threshold from the tile to the hardwood the pieces fly off, and sometimes a wheel or two as well. If the pieces fit a bit more snug, these cars would be 5/5, but because the whole point of them is to be interchangeable, the loose pieces are disappointing.

Overall I am satisfied with the product. Some parts especially cabins are pretty loose in a few models, but otherwise good quaity and an interesting idea to combine wooden and plastic parts and modules where different configurations can be built.However, this product is not suitable for children under 4 or even 5 years old as the tiny parts - the wheels and tyres go missing immediately after taken apart. I managed to find all of them on the 2nd day, but if they go missing for longer, then they are gone for good.

Love them. My son can't put them down. At age 2 there great for him. Will definitely be getting some more
