MapexB200RB Rebel Entry Level Cymbal Boom Stand, Double-Braced

Decent for what it is....but remember what it is NOT
O.K....so this is not even a medium weight quality boom stand first and foremost. Do not expect even mid level quality. this is a lightweight low level boom stand. I would not mount a 22" ride on it personally but thats not what I bought it for.I mixed the quiet practice cymbals in with regular cymbals in my house setup so that when I need to keep the volume down I have the perforated practice cymbals already mounted and setup. Verses taking off 4 or so regular cymbals then mounting up practice ones now and then when my wife does not want to listen to me banging on the drums. So I bought several of these as they were cheap and the quiet cymbals weigh diddly and do not get moved. They stay put...works great and I do not have to drop 60 plus bucks for stands to hold the quiet cymbals. WIth that in mind they are worth it.Would I buy them for regular cymbals...mostly no...maybe for a splash or china or a smaller crash but mainly no. They would work sure but for 20-30 bucks more you can get a better mid weight double braced stand.

Great for the price! ..If you do not have amazon prime!
Im going to be generous with this rating because im an impatient person. Shipping was prty slow but to be fair one of the days was easter. If you do not have amazon prime, go for it! but if you do, look for another stand because with one shipping and everything i could have gotten a little better stand for the price. Over all, if your looking for something in this price range and you do not have amazon prime, you cannot really get something better than this for $28!Notes:-is not a standard thread size so cymbal stackers will not work.-comes with the felts-not the most sturdy so i would use it only for a crash or splash-Will not find much if you look up mapex B200 on google. If you want to do research on this stand, look up mapex tornado cymbal stand.

Nice bongo stand.
This ídem is great , maybe not the best but looks great and strong. The only downside is that the boom part is short 12 inches , it should have been at least 24 inches, but other then that is great.Great price . I do recommend this.

Subpar
It's cheap, but you know that. That's why you are skimping on getting a real stand. But it works. It's got a hardware store wing nut to hold the cymbal on. The happy accident (bug/feature) being that it is the size of thread that fits cameras.

I'm a beginner, but this works great for me
I found an old drum kit at an estate sale and decided to learn how to play. I needed another cymbal stand, and this works great for my needs. I didn't need a professional-level item, so I was looking for the best deal I could find. This did the trick.

It's not as sturdy as one you would get if you pay more ...
It is what i thought it would be for the price. It's not as sturdy as one you would get if you pay more but it's good enough for what i needed. I don't transport my drum set, just leave it set up. I have a 15" AAX Crash on this stand and it works well. I wouldn't suggest this for a cymbal much bigger than that though. It would probably tip over. For what i need though it is a good deal forthe price.

Will tip over with Ride Cymbal
I tried using a 20 and 22" ride cymbal on it. You have to balance it juuust right, to avoid tipping over. Works fine for crashes and splashes. The Boom Arm is very short compared to other stands, and is smooth, so really have to crank down on the tighteners to be sure it doesn't rotate. The height, and leg adjustment screws are a bit cheap and flimsy. The price, though, reflects all these choices by the manufacturer, so I sort of expected shortcuts.

Not for use with Roland cymbals
For the money they would be ok for up to 18 inch regular cymbals but they do not work for Roland electronic cymbals as the cymbal connection is 2 inches to short to accommodate Rolands cymbal swivel stop. I was able to cobble together and make it usable from spare parts I had. Go with the Pearl for a little bit more money.
