SeaSnax Chomperz Crunchy Seaweed Chips, Jalapeno, 1 Ounce (Pack of 8)

So what is this like? Well it's basically a rice curl type chip with a crispy seaweed lining. And they're flavored (at least to my less subtle palate) with salt and jalapeno. I don't know what happened --I don't usually like spicy things. Once in the while I'll try a seaweed item when I'm in a store. I always hope that I'll find a way to incorporate it into my diet. This Chomperz snack is my first successful seaweed trial. They are light, crispy, and uber-flavorful. I adore them. The bags are small-ish...the face of a bag is about the size of my hand with my fingers spread out. The full weight of a bag is 1 ounce, and that is supposed to be 2 servings. That being said, the calorie count for the entire bag (2 servings) would be about 80 calories. Still, for a light snack in more ways than one, it is easy to eat your way through one bag, or for the truly voracious, many more. As such, the price of a bag is probably key. A case of 8 currently is $31.19, which makes them about $3.90 a bag. I think that's fair for a snack that I love, but that's me. You'll have to decide for yourself.

I’m addicted to these seaweed chips, I’ve tried all the flavors but prefer the jalapeño or onion flavors. Healthier then potato chips and they taste good I wish they were a bit less expensive though

To me being healthy is a burdensome expense, not a joy. I know seaweed is a super food with many benefits but I would never eat it plain. Like most nutrients I will spend hundreds on supplements so I don't have to taste it. These Chomperz are a game changer. It satiates my need for savory salty flavor and crunchy texture while being low in calories and full of nutrients. Goes perfect with my afternoon port with cheese and raw veggies. Only if all nutrient dense foods can substitute for potato chips, lol.

I love the taste and have spent thousands on these chips over the years. I can afford them, however, I’m never purchasing them again. The price of over 6.00 a bag is outrageous! So like many others I say farewell Chomperz!!

Salty, crunchy, and only 80 calories if you accidentally devour the whole bag...

These are perfect when you need a crunchy snack. Jalapeno is my favorite flavor. I normally finish a whole bag. Lots of sodium, but I can't only eat half a bag. Heh heh. At least the calories are low.

Love these snacks and was bummed when my Whole Foods stoped carrying this flavor. Great alternative to potato chips. My kids even like them.
