My 5 year old is OBSESSED with anything that transforms and this was a perfect gift for him. It's probably better for a child slightly older than 5 because his patience with the process is minimal and he tried to force it to transform how he wanted it to rather than following the directions, but even then, it hasn't broken completely! Standing up to my 5 year old gets 5 stars from me for sure!

My grandson loves transformers. Both rescue bots and the ones made for older children. He is 6. He loves these when I order from Amazon. I address it to him and he loves opening the boxes and seeing which transformer friends have arrived. This particular style is very easy to transform from bot to vehicle. Great gift!

My son (age 4) is absolutely OBSESSED with transformers. One of his favorites is ratchet. He has countless transformers (and other ratchets) and while he does like this one and play with it regularly I wasn’t too happy that I had to buy yet another energon igniter transformer to get the one piece

Ratchet transformers aren’t easy to find and therefore I was concerned this one would not be a great product I was pleasantly incorrect. Ratchet is well made and easy to use. My kid was ecstatic to receive this for his bday. My only criticism is the door comes off and is hard for a 4 year old to put back on.

I don’t know much about the toys of today, but I know a happy boy when I see one! Perfect gift for a 6 year old boy.

My nephew was not playing rough with this, and the arm broke off in minutes of opening.

It broke with in a hour it's easy to put back together but it just kept braking it has no leg now and we can't find the leg so it got put in the box of lost toys
