Great high end wrench
Solid, easy to use. You push a collar up to adjust the torque, let the collar go and it locks down the selected torque, no guess work, and no difficult spin to lock collars. Accuracy to 4% CW is on par with the best.It is pretty big, which may be impractical for some applications.

Excellent US made Torque wrench
This is a really well made, solid & dependable torque wrench. I have a beam type torque wrench, too, but it's too difficult to read most of the time. (I'm a driveway Jeep mechanic). This ratcheting/click wrench has the leverage and audible break to make jobs easy.It comes with a legitimate calibration certificate, and it's made in the United States. It's ALWAYS worth a higher price for good tools that won't fail me (i.e. not made in PRC).

Great torque wrench
Great torque wrench. I use it in my garage at home every couple weeks. I am by no means a professional and I have no idea of it's accuracy, but it does the job well for me. Easy to use, good size, and most importantly, I love how easy it is to adjust to different torque specs. Easiest adjustment of any wrench I have used.

Great Value, unbeatable quality in this price range
These Proto Torque wrenches are the best I've ever had. This was my 2nd Proto torque wrench. The 1st being in the family for 30 years. The build of this wrench has changed but not much change in 30+ years. Over all highest quality tools but for a better price.

Have 3 of these in different sizes...so far they are nice. The only complaint I have is that the locking collar does not disengage fully and sometimes when turning the handle you can feel the "click, click, click" of each detent inside the handle. Proto seems to make their tools "nearly" perfect...and this is a frustration for me as I really do love their tools!

Great tool. I love the locking collar that keeps the torque setting from changing while you are using it. I also love the quality of this tool. It should provide many years of reliable service (unlike the Chinese torque wrench I just tossed in the dumpster).

Perfect for me.
Nice long handle so I can torque things to 150+ ft lbs with ease. The torque adjuster on the handle spins smoothly and is easy to use. Reversible head works. The only thing I changed was the screw-on cover on the bottom of the handle. I had to add an o-ring onto the bottom of the male threads for the handle cover thing so it wouldn't spin off. Even so, this doesn't affect the functionality of the tool, and overall this is everything I had hoped it would be.
