Megatron 4" Diamond Cup Grinding Removing Disc Wheel for Concrete, Paint, Epoxy, Glue and Mastic with CDB New Technology (Megatron 4")

I am removing paint from a cement block wall and the Megatron 4 inch cup grinding disc used in conjunction with my 4.5 inch Bosch grinder is doing an amazing job. As long as I keep the grinder moving and don't try to get to aggressive, this tool is just amazing. It removes the paint and very little of the block surface. I would highly recommend this product to others who want to tackle a project like mine. Of note, I am removing paint from a wall which is damp which may help with removal. Beware, this project creates a lot of dust, therefore a mask, and faceshield are recommended.

Definitely removes old thick textured paint! Had to refinish a 850 sqft deck where 35 grit sandpaper wasn't making a dent. Thank goodness I ordered two of these things. Halfway through the deck the disc was losing its oomph. Several bits were completely sheared off from screws and overall the wheel had become worn and dull. As far as longevity, both discs were trash after sanding the entire deck. Regardless, this sanding disc was the only thing that successfully removed the old paint .... with that said, highly recommend.

I have a set of concrete stairs that were cracking due to settling and had been painted numerous times with some pretty tough porch paint, To dress them up I had to take off most of the paint and remove past filling/repairs.I put this wheel on my oft used Hitachi angle grinder and this item did the job. Which is good.It was so aggressive taking the surface of the concrete< I had to have a light touch while it had less effect on the paint which seemed to melt but stubornly cling to the surface.A good product that does what it I bought it to do.As of MAY 2021 I USED THIS ON THE SECOND OF MY 2 STOOPS: it worked as I expected. When I tried to get another of the same it was called out as "unavailable AND I could not get the price I paid in June, 2020 (odd).There ARE other Mnfr's available but I know this fit my needs. I am disappointed but the Covid 19 quarantine may have disrupted distribution, so I will just run this out of its useful life and see if it (or equivalent) get back on amazon.Indicating just how satisfied I am with THIS item.

We use these every day for concrete work. Half the price as the name brands and last just as long doing a better job.

This is probably great once you get through the coating.Otherwise get a diamabrush, much faster.

Make sure you're wearing a whole bunch of PPE. Because this thing, when used against concrete or whatever, is going to not only fill the room with so much concrete dust you'll barely be able to see, but will get into every other attached room that isn't completely sealed too. Which will give you serious health issues if you aren't 100% protected.

I used it to clean and smooth the adhesive from an old glue down laminate tiles from my bathroom floor in preparation for an epoxy floor. Did 40sqft in about an hour, pretty easy to control, and made a ton of dust.I didn't plan ahead by getting a dust shroud for my grinder so used a respirator and exhaust fan in the window which really helped.I forgot a picture between the grinding and the epoxy unfortunately but it was very clean but I can see the shadows of the tiles after the epoxy was applied, Probably could have gotten that too if I'd gone deeper?Anyway, happy with the product. I'll be using it again in the laundry room.

Need to strip paint or stain off wood? Yeah no problem with this at all. Is it fast no, but it’s very effective. My deck is 25 x25 and stripped 20% of it in about 2 hours.

Am a concrete contractor bought this to help with removing epoxy and other difficult material of this sort that I come across on concrete walls when am hired to do a Job I’ve use many diamond wheel and decided to give this a shot and If goes well will be a continuous customer I finally use it today and was very impressed how easy It was taking off the epoxy nothing close to what I’ve use before but then to my suprise within 15mins of using this all the teeth was gone that was it for the diamond wheel and I was left with and unfinish job wish I use this when it arrive so I can get my money back now am out of my cash delayed on my Job and have a unhappy client

サイディングにガッツリ付いた分厚い塗剤と調整剤の除去作業に購入しました。少し時間はかかりますが、そこまで押さえ付ける必要も無くゆっくりと削れてくれますので、サイディングをそれほど痛めずに済みます。後は腕次第かと。釘の頭を削って飛ばしてしまうか心配していましたが、釘の頭に少し触れると高い音がしますのですぐに判ります。僅かに削る事はあっても、頭を飛ばしてしまう事は一度もありませんでした。カッタースクレーパー＋特専黒刃で、調整剤を下地のサイディングごと削っていくよりも、体力的にも楽で早く、仕上がりも格段に良かったです。

んー。うたってるだけの商品ですな！！薄いノリとか塗装には使えそうだけどガッチリ厚みのある表面の塗料や調整材を落とすのは無理❗️❗️トマックスをお勧めします。

床、クションフロアを剥がした後の接着剤剥がしに使用。削れ具合、耐久性素晴らしい！
